Woke up in so much pain in hip, lower back, knees Anyone found particular foods or supplements help. Don't want to take painkillers as they are making me feel really queasy. Any help greatly appreciated x

Thanks I am making a real effort to watch what I am eating as I'm sure that is aggravating it. Also I have upped my water intake & last night I had a much better sleep.

Have you tried the MSM aloe Vera drink? MSM is often used to treat a wide range of specific conditions including Osteoarthritis! Hope your getting better or at least having a better sleep

I have arthritis, duphrens disease(fingers curl) and a severe weak wrist (broken several times in a short period of time) I'm only 31, I'm not going to let it beat me. I'm determined to fight the pain and loose the weight I want.
I'm used to pain so s bit more won't hurt. That what I think anyway! Fight the fat!

In addition, research studies have shown that certain nutrients, such as vitamin D, vitamin C, beta-carotene, and niacin, may be able to reduce the progression of osteoarthritis. Consumption of foods rich in these nutrients may help delay or even prevent the disability that can occur from this condition.
Certain other nutrients, such as vitamin E, boron, niacinamide, and omega-3 fatty acids, may actually help reduce the pain and swelling that comes with osteoarthritis. As a result, patients may be able to decrease their use of pain-killers, which can have nasty side-effects, by consuming healthy foods rich in these nutrients.

^I have got above information from the following link: Osteoarthritis

I was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis back when I was 35. A lot of new information is out now with ways to help with the pain and stiffness.

I became unable to take prescription drugs for this condition so I had to get really serious and research other types of treatment. The particular enzyme in cherries sounded too good to be true! I have been able to cut the pain and stiffness in half with capsules containing tart cherry extract! I would like to shout it out to anyone who needs help!

The straight dark cherry juice does help also as does fresh cherries. I try hard to cut the sodium in my diet which helps with swelling. Now I am losing weight to help my knees.
Try cherry extract. Take it with food!
Annie:)
