I love the concealer/foundations products, but when it comes to eyeshadow I'm just as happy with cheaper brands.

I went in to town yesterday to buy a Clinique mascara and as there was no actual Clinique assistant was totally hijacked from a Smashbox representative, she gave me a really lovely make-over - I did ask where her company put themselves with regard to other brands she said they put themselves alongside Mac but there products were even better quality!

The mascara I bought is a gem! and as for the eyebrow filler inner (SP?!) and a gel that makes them stay put - amazing!

Have to disagree with Rainbowfrank and say that the eyeshadows are fantastic! Great colours, not too much sparkle and good staying power.

MAC = AMAZING! Im a MUA and i love there products, the mascara zoom lash is amazing, the shadows are also my faves. Also the lipsticks, they have nearly every shade.

And the main thing that i would tell anyone to invest in is the MAC Brushes. The better the brush the better the application. Try buying a blending brush from MAC wow its my fave brush. I couldnt live without it!

Ive wrote so much! Shows how much I LOVE MAC

I am a MAC whore! It's definitely worth the money as the products are so well made. Word of warning though, the foundations are known fro causing skin-breakouts (I suspect due to the SPF) so be careful. I have a huge collection of MAC make-up and would definitely say the eyeshadows, mineralize skinfinishes, eyebrow pencils, pigments, eyeliners andpowders are the best.
I have to say though that in my opinion, NARS do the best blushers and Urban Decay make the best eyeshadows, but MAC are a close second for those items!
Go to any MAC counter and they will happily give you free samples of most products.
MAC fix+ is also a great make-up setting spray and facial mist that no girl should be without!

Forgot to add, MAC brushes are good, but can be prone to shedding, so be careful when washing/cleaning them.
My all time-fave brush is definitely the MAC 109. Great for aplying foundation, blending and buffing. A real all-rounder.
The MAC 187 brush is also ace for applying powder foundation, such as MAC studio fix.

Oh God how I love MAC, I love the professional finish you get with their products. I'd say treat yourself to an eyeshadow here, a lipgloss there before you know it you'll have quite the collection building.

When it comes to foundation though, I like Estee Lauder Double Wear best of all.

I'm a MAC convert, my beauty therapist recommended it to me and when I went to Florida I had a MAC make up, if I knew it wouldn't have resulted in divorce I'd have bought the lot!!
I use Pro longwear foundation and concealer, but want the primer and a mascara, trouble is I never go to Gunwharf and next closest is Bournemouth which is about 30miles or more away - long way to go for make up and I like to try so no good buying online

I do like MAC,I have quite a few brushes, about 25 blushes,a few msf's and a couple of foundations and concealers BUT I dont think they're the best IMO. Their packaging sucks and they bring out too many collections,a lot of the SA's are quite snobby(not all) and they are quite pricey. I love ALL makeup,if I find a cheap product that works then I buy it.I also love Estee Lauder and Dior but only when I get money for presents Lol.

I adore MAC!! I use MAC everything and have done for about 12 years, I do also use illamasqua and I use lancome mascara. To be honest these days MAC isn't too much more expensive than a lot of the more high street brands and I think they are much better quality, and the way I look at it is that I have to live with this face forever so I need to look after it!! MAC has SPF in it too. If you love MAC you definitely need to try out illamasqua too
