    Xenical motivation!

Hi guys! I apologise of there are other threads out there similar, I'm new lol

I just wanted to hear of success stories from people that have used xenical/orlistat.

It's always nice to hear that people are succeeding, plus it helps motivate you through any side affects...

I have a lot of weight to lose and after several failed attempts, I want this one to be the last!

Hello and welcome! There are lots of success stories to be told on this forum, I'm glad to say! Have a browse in the Xenical Diaries section for lots of inspiration. I personally have lost just over 7 stone and have been taking Xenical for 14 months. What I would say is that most of the effort comes from you, not the drug - it does give you a little boost, I think, but most of the weight loss comes from your own dietary control. The tablets can be a good motivation because of what you know will happen if you stray too far off the straight and narrow, lol.

All the very best - keep us posted! xx

    Hi,

I agree with Tracey - the tablets are certainly not the whole reason for weight loss! - But they are certainly make you mindful of your food choices! I have lost 9 stone exactly this week and still rely on the tablets to keep me on the straight and narrow - I generally only take one a day but if I am having a "temptation" day I will take them with all my meals because I know the consequences will be worse - it's all psychological for me!

There are some really great stories on here of people's journey's and the support is amazing!

How much do you have to loose?

    Hi & welcome!

I can only really say the same as the girls have... I was on xen from last Oct til Feb & that got my head in the right place for me to carry on & I've lost just over 7 stone. Xen was completely all about the fear for me, I work in a call centre & the worry of having an accident at work was what made me stick to the xen rules..... It's not a miracle drug though I'd say it's a little blue form of willpower. Good Luck x
