    Orlistat??

Ok here goes! My third day finished on orlistat today! Im feeling quite optimistic as by now i would of headed for the biscuit tin! I generally feel better in myself! (And feel as though i look better) i dont feel or look bloated like i have done since i gave birth which was last may :O i feel like i might need a bit of motivation now (i know its all about doing it yourself!) but ive come on here as i feel abit of motivation can go along way and swapping tips and tricks, plus i cant afford to spend money on ww or slimming world as i spend every last penny spoiling bubba :-D Lx

Its a pill that you take with every meal it doesnt let the fat break down so you end up passing it (which can be pretty nasty) its more mental than physical for me i know that on this pill i cant have a high fat intake or il end up in a bad, bad way but physically thats what will happen anyway haha hope that gave you some insight... I threw the leaflet away xx

It stops fat from being digested and passes through the digestive system so if you have a high fat diet it can get pretty nasty:/ ive done well so far :-D xx

It's the only weightloss drug available on the NHS. It blocks some of the fat you eat from being absorbed by the body. Have you heard of Alli? Orlistat is the same thing only stronger and only available on prescription. xx

Thank you! I know what you mean about wanting to get to a healthy weight, but I'm no longer aiming for what is considered healthy on the BMI table, as it seems too low given how I feel now, if that makes sense! It feels like my body is telling me it's pretty happy how it is, so now I'm just aiming for anything under 13 stone, which was my pre-pregnancy weight 14 years ago, lol. xx

Ive lost 10 pound a week and a half down the line.... Had a mega pig out today though and let myself right down... Dont think i will again as ive got really bad stumoch cramp so ive learnt my lesson! And i totally agree with you about the bmi scale... 13 stone was my pre pregnancy weight that was only a year ago... I want to hit about 11 stone i just dont want people (especially the gp) to keep saying its to do with my weight so aslong as i can loose some il be happy plus i have my brothers wedding in august and i am determined NOT to be the fattest bridesmaid!!! Lol xx

That's brilliant, such a good start! Hope you don't get any serious consequences from the overindulgence, I've been there. Yes, I used to avoid going to the doctor's because I knew so many problems could be attributed to my weight - now they're all because I'm old and knackered!! xx
