Bit of advice needed if possible

Morning everyone. Well today I start orlistat. Just wondered if anyone out there has hsd their gallbladder removed and takes this. I had mine taken out 6years ago. I did mention it to the dr as I was leaving her surgery and she did say that it shouldn't be a problem but I just wondered if anyone has any advise or experience of this. Have a good sunday x

Hi Cath. I had my gallbladder out last year and carried on taking Orlistat - as far as I was aware it wasn't a problem, and I had no issues. Ironically it may have been the Orlistat that gave me the gallstones in the first place, lol, as it is a known issue from what I've read. xx

You're welcome Cath. I've been surprised at how much better I've felt in general since I had my gallbladder out. xx
