    Is it easy to get prescibed.................

    Been dieting all my life, mainly VLCD (slim & save, Cambridge etc) and and put it all back, am about 6 stones overweight.

    am thinking of asking GP for prescription, is it easy to get or what do I need to persuade them......

    I am thinking of doing alongside slimming world



    any tips much appreciated

    I think it depends on your doctor really. In my case it was actually the practice nurse who suggested it to me. They usually want you to lose some weight yourself first, and then you have to lose a certain percentage in the early stages in order to get a repeat prescription. I didn't find it difficult to get it prescribed, or to continue to get it (in fact I've got boxes of the stuff sitting in the cupboard, lol). Good luck! xx

    Thanks for the reply Tracy, I am hoping it will be easy my BMI is certainly high enough
