Ahhh. Hopefully no lightning next weekend. Duck sounds scrummy, have you a recipe to share?

I brown the duck in a cast iron pan skin side down so it goes crispy then put in oven for about 15 mins.

    Plum Hoisin Sauce:

2 cups plums, pitted and sliced
    1/2 cup honey
    1 teaspoon ginger powder
    1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    2 tablespoons rice vinegar

    To make the sauce:
Place all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
Heat and simmer for 15 minutes until thickened and reduced.
    Puree in food processor.
It's not about being better than others, it's about being better than YOU use to be.

    Morning Mary!

I thought it was okay. I think I'd like it mixed with coffee. It was kind of weak. My DH added milk to it. It isn't sweet -- it smells divine when you open the bag. I could just use it as potpourri -- I like aroma so much.

Most people read The primal Blueprint by Mark Sissons. I've sent you a pm.

    Hi M,

Trying to set up my FitBit... finally.

It's set up but not charged. I'll start wearing it tomorrow. I'm going to let it get a full charge.
