Day 5 of following a paleo diet I thought I would record my food diary and how I'm doing
So today's eating plan is
Blueberry pancakes. - 2 eggs mixed with 25 blueberries and cooked using coconut oil
100g of king prawns cooked with grated ginger grated garlic and lime juice served on a salad with gem lettuce, cue ,pepper, celery.
Salmon with garlic,lemon,zest,lemon jjice, paprika and olive oil served with asparagus and broccoi
The salmon was so delish that im going to have to have it again and really soon yum!!!
Was going to have chicken for dinner but forgot to unfreeze it opps.
Drinks are just water.

I shall weigh in on monday with the results of my first week eating and so far i have stuck 100% and the scales are dropping and my coat yesterday zipped up was no longer tight but lose. Bonus!!
Blueberry pancakes - made with 25 blueberries and 2 eggs and a tiny bit of coconut oil
Salmon cooked in lime juice olive oil garlic paprika
Served with broccoi and asparagus
Turkey breast with spices
Served with salad
Lots of water
I love my blueberry pancakes sometimes I have banana pancakes too yum!!
The scales are dropping good so far I started 1st jan 13.7. Did 10 days on a vlcd and couldn't do anymore and I'd got down to 12.11. But when you eat you gain 4-7lbs back. So I went back up into the 13s again. But sneaky peaks and I'm back down into the 12s. Target has always been get to 10 stone again but I've tried for 8 years and never got there so I'm aiming for 10.7 as my size 8-10 clothes will fit. But if my body decides to drop to 10 then bonus :-)
Well I'm stuffed I enjoyed the turkey, salad and avacado for my evening meal that will keep me going until tomorrow.
You must feel great being at your target and controlling it too

Beef, cabbage, carrots,
Turkey with cauliflower rice
Shall put spices on turkey and some in the rice just not sure what yet.
Going to take the lobster out of the freezer today as really looking forward to lobster with parsley and lemon cauliflower rice on Monday yum!
Just wanted to say that the cauliflower rice was successful so i put half in the fridge ready to have tomorrow for lunch with turkey and a slice of beef.
Also im going to buy some almonds and make some almond milk as ive never tried it or even made it before

Weigh in day and I'm pleased to have lost 8lbs and I'm down to 12.7! Yay that's 1 stone I've lost so far this year so it's definately going ok.
Plan for today
Coconut milk 4 strawberries
Cauliflower rice with peppers and onions and turkey and beef
I'm really pleased and shocked at the scales how they are dropping so quickly that's 1 stone I've lost this year so far pretty pleased with myself and the results. Onwards to week 2 lets see some more pounds drop off.
Does anyone know what the usual second week weight loss is ?
ah ok well as long as my health improves im sure the weight will even its self out. ive not had any problem with my stomach since i started and i would suffer from really bad belly aches and the most awful wind for 7 hours so bad usually if i had eaten anything with gluten. since last monday ive felt absolutely fine, my periods not even caused me any bother either. main thing apart from wanting to get to target is i would like my thyroid to maybe heal or at worst stay the same and no get any worse.

the scales have dropped lots this week i got on them one day and i had dropped another 2lbs so thought ill not get on them tomorrow then 2 days later they are down another 2lbs i just stood there a bit shocked as ive never been able to lose weight when i eat food.
i gained weight doing slimming world i had to give it up as i was getting fatter by sticking 100 percent to their plan. it was rapid weight gain too which isnt very good to feel your legs and stomach swelling everytimet you eat.

well im feeling very good even though im on my period no pains in my stomach or nothing im feeling great.
this morning i decided to try on my next size 12 jeans that i havent been able to fit into since around october. last week i couldnt get them up past top of my legs let along my bum and stomach and today omg im wearing them. they are snug but not to the point everything hangs over the top. rather pleased with myself for that achievement as i have been walking around in leggings and black trousers since my jeans wouldnt fit.
i got on the scales today wasnt expecting any loss as i only weighed in yesterday but again the scales are still moving in the downward direction.
eating plan today
omlettee with prawns (4) courgette, spring onions, half a pepper served with a rocket salad and celery and cuecumber.
steak with a big salad
im really getting to grips with this healthy way of eating and enjoying all my food.
Today I'm out shopping with my mum got to stock up on all the yummy food. Tonight I shall be attending karate which I'm really enjoying.

I am finding I don't eat many calories when I'm tracking them but I'm stuffed up all the time. I try to keep carbs down to.
Lobster and kangaroo, very exotic! Enjoy!
I've had the lobster in the freezer for what seems llke forever but I do love it.
As for the kangaroo the butchers in town sells it all crocodile bison alsorts so I decided to buy one a week and try it. So today it's the roo.
Never tried it before so shall be interesting :-).
Plus it's all wild and paleo I plus they aren't grain fed as they are wild so I guess it's better for me.
slight change of plan didnt have the lobster as it had gone past its sell by date opps, so i had turkey in coconut oil and salad and avacado
it was still yummy and im looking forward to roo tonight
karate has been cancelled and moved to tomorrow so i shall do the kettle bells dvd
Went to gym today ran on treadmill 1.6k and then 2k on rowing machine before I moved on to my weight lighting program. Tonight I've got an hour if karate so that will burn some calories.

Dinner same as lunch
I've had a banana and I'm drinking water
Well everything is going along smoothly and weigh in day is Monday.
My next target is so get into the 11 stones bracket so shall be at the gym and karate lots to work this body into some sort of shape.
I'm off out on the 2nd clubbing so that will be a night of drinking water but at least I can dance the night away.

Glad to hear it's going so well, really pleased I switched from VLCD to this, it's so much more fun and I feel good about meals now and not deprived!
Hope you get another good loss this week.
I can't work out how much we are meant to lose each week, some say 1-2lbs a month, others are nothing and then in the Daily Mail they had a guy that lost 8stones in 5 months! I guess time will tell!
Will be watching with interest how you do. How long have you been going Karate? I used to do Shotokan Karate years ago, got to brown belt lol.. would love to do it again but not fit enough yet.
