Hi all...!

Well, long story short I cut out the 'normal' carbs over 2.5 years ago now and I followed Exante and S&S for a number of months a couple of years back here on minimins dropping from nearly 13st to 9st 10lbs, I then maintained on Atkins.

Just before Christmas I was diagnosed with a bowel condition and was placed on a FODMAP and Paleo diet by my consultant dietician, which although extremely restrictive I am loving, as its much more flexible than Atkins and around the same time I was introduced to the world of Crossfit and High Intensity Training which I also thoroughly enjoy!

Due to the medication I was placed on I gained just over a stone but I am now losing it again steadily, my goal this time around is to concentrate on my fitness and putting good clean foods into my body rather than loss.

Will be lovely to chat to like minded positive people and to gain inspiration along the way!

Evening all again, gosh it's very quiet in here, I may have to pop my ramblings back over on the Atkins board or just keep to Marks Daily Apple forums.....would have been nice to chat with peeps here in the UK....

Anyway, just in from work, roast chicken and roast butternut squash tonight with a cup of camomile and honey tea before having an early night as back up again at 5am for another shift!

I really dislike working the weekend as its the only time I miss the gym as its shut when I get up and closes before I get home too :/

Must make up next week and work extra hard by going most days. I have a session with my trainer on Wednesday so that should help sort a large amount of it followed by circuits class on Thursday... :)

Heyyy Jo! It is a v quiet part of the forum!
Hows the diet going, you sound like youre doing well, do you still do FODMAPS? I think its great that you have a dietitian who's advising paleo. Have you seen Aglaee Jacob's website? shes a paleo dietitian and has a book: digestive health with real food, its an interesting read :)

It is a quiet part of the forum but you may find as you interact with other diaries they come to yours as well. :) I have not had much chance to be on minis lately myself. :(

Your food is looking good, seems like you're really getting the hang of things. Glad to hear you're enjoying the food and fingers crossed it will help with your condition and fitness goals. x
 
Hey AJ and Plum, thanks for proving there is life around here :) and thanks for the web read AJ I'll have a look at that later.

Just in from work again and it's duck with veg tonight with a sneaky dry white!

Looking forward to Monday as it means I can get in the gym as its open until 9pm so plenty of time after work, I've really missed it this weekend with the weekend hours :/

Another 2 days in work and then off for two and really looking forward to it!! Hope you all have a great evening.
