Cavegirls dinner pics
Been a bit lazy lately so going to log my dinners again.
Will be a bit hit and miss until Monday as I'm going away for bank holiday.
Here are some that I seem to stick to.Want to try some different dinners.
Caveman Shepherds Pie.
500g turkey mince
1tbsp coconut oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp poultry seasoning
500g of sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 medium white onion, cut into 1 inch dice
1carrots, peeled and grated
2 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp arrowroot powder
1 cups chicken broth
125g frozen peas
1/2 very ripe banana
Coconut oil in pan,add turkey,add s & p,poultry seasoning
Sweet spuds in pot cover with water put lid on,bring to boil and cook 12 mins.
Add onions & carrots to turkey,cook for 5 mins,remove from heat.
Add ghee to a pan whisk in arrowroot for a min add chicken broth.Season with S&P and let thicken.
Drain all the excess oil from turkey.
Stir gravy into turkey.
Stir in peas turn heat off.
Melt 2 tablespoons ghee.
Peel and slice banana and put in ghee,add spuds and mash.
Spread turkey into a 9 x 13 dish.
Spread spuds over top.
Put in oven 200c for 10 mins
If you want it enough you won't keep finding excuses to not do it.
