    Becky's Paleo Diary

    Ok, Day one today.

    I've been totally of the diet wagon this year after lots of personal stuff has just left my focus elsewhere.

    I'm ready to start again with a whole new focus.

    Not a great weigh in this morning but not surprising really considering I've not watched what I've been eating for months and have just come back from holiday!!!!

    I've updated all of my figures to start again and have picked Paleo as clean eating always seems to work best for me.

    Not a great start as I've overslept so no time for breakfast...I have a salad made up for my lunch though and nuts, fruit and carrots for snacks to graze on through the day so will start with a mid-morning snack.

    Todays Food:

    Breakfast - none
    Mid morning - Handful of nuts and some carrot sticks
    Lunch - Chicken and salad
    Dinner - Sausages, bacon, eggs and mushrooms - I know this is not strictly Paleo but they were in the fridge and needed eating
    Snack - Grapes and plums

    my second day on paleo today. .. Going to the pub for lunch which will be interesting. ... I'm hoping I can swap chips for a salad to keep me on track. ... and deffo no wine! !!!

    Lots of snacks going to work with me again as no breakfast. ...I know it's bad but I can't face food this early in the morning....I have some nuts, fruit and carrot sticks though so will have some of them.

    breakfast: none
    mid morning: nuts and carrot sticks
    lunch:chicken skewers with salad instead of chips
    afternoon: fruit
    dinner: Ham salad

    Are you doing Paleo or Primal?

    I don't eat until about 12 o'clock.So my first meal of the day is lunch.


    Been maintaining under 9 stone on a Primal diet since Oct 2012.


    Commitment and hard work gets you there.

    You can 'diet' and still have a life if you really,really want to.



    Maintaining is easier than the losing.

    Your weight is not going up for no reason. It's going up because you consume more than you burn.

    116 days until Xmas.

    to be honest I'm kind of making it up as I go along. ... I got a list of paleo foods so I'm trying to work to that and I'll figure out what works for me! ! I'll be hungry mid morning so have snacks to keep me going! !
