Too much fruit?
I've switched from VLCD and did first proper Primal day yesterday, I think I overdid the fruit as I feel off today and have a bad tummy.
1 x Small clementine - morning
Berry smoothy 180g - mid afternoon
coconut chunks 40g - late afternoon
berrys 150g / 1 x banana and cream - after dinner
I think I got a bit carried away!
I've eaten salad, veg, fish, eggs and a little cheese in the day.
My aim is to lose weight, so I don't want too much fruit to hinder that.
I was going to just cut it out, but thought I'd ask for opinions first.

Coconut is more a nut than a fruit so don't worry about that one. :)
I try to stick to 2-3 portions of fruit per day max but sometimes have 1 or 0, and usually go for low GI choices - berries are great. :) I only have bananas when I exercise - usually a 1/2 the night before and 1 after my workout. :)

I just keeping thinking I'll have to adjust things as I go along to be happy with the food choice but still lose weight too.
I don't think fruit agree's with me, but then I've always thought that. I love it, but it bloats me and seems to cause problems.
I'll buy some nuts today, they should help instead of fruit.
As long as you eat a variety of veg to get nutrients, fruit isn't necessary - so if it doesn't suit you then don't try to force it. :) you're right, paleo/primal is great as everyone can find a way that suits them. :)
I ate so much fruit last week that I'm having a fruitless week this week.:)
I find it hard because fruit seems to be my only treat as its sweet.
When my weight loss stalls ill probably cut it out. I only have 2 portions a day anyway

Thanks everyone, I think I'll have a small orange or banana now and then.. they seem ok, berries are giving me acid :confused: but i'll try them again in a few weeks.
