TO PALEO OR NOT TO PALEO

I have thought of this in the past. It does seem logical. Also, bread bloats me and I can do without pots and rice. I would miss cheese though. Love fruit, veg and salad, eggs and chicken. However husband is very underweight (8st 12lbs, he went down to 8st 7lbs a few weeks ago) so I could just add the rice, pots, pasta etc. for him. Keeping his weight up so the hospital doesn't think I'm not feeding him is a major headache.

I hope I am not being reckless here........it does seem a very good solution. Am going to try it and have had a look at a Paleo site for recipe ideas. Wish me luck.

Brilliant news Cavegirl. I love cheese. Not so keen on meat though, red in particular. I have replied to your pms and many thanks for all the knowledge. Have got the berries and will go BlackBerrying for them too.:)

I did paleo 4 years ago and had drastic fat loss in 3 weeks. I dropped a dress size and lost half a stone. I felt amazing. I went to New York shortly after and put all the weight back on and dabbled in it until I got pregnant in May 2012 and then I joined Slimming World to lose the baby weight. I lost 16 pounds and felt great, but I was breastfeeding and that certainly helped. I had a miscarriage recently and want to go back to basics, get really healthy and have decided to do Paleo again. I was given a strict plan when I originally did it which involved only eating lean meat or meat with the fat cut off, non starchy veg and salad and fruit and nuts, some red wine and that was it, plus lots of omega 3 fish oils for the first 2 weeks, so I am starting off with this and then will incorporate more things like some 85% dark chocolate in small amounts. Hoping for some great results.
