    Paleo Turkey Meatballs.

    500g turkey,minced
    1/2 cup almond flour
    2 eggs
    1 onion,grated
    1/2 cup carrots,grated
    3 cloves garlic,minced
    2 tbsp parsley
    2 tbsp basil
    Black pepper to taste
    Salt,pinch



    Preheat oven to 160.Bake for 35 - 40 mins
    Peel the onions and grate them.
    Grate the carrots.
    Peel and press (or mince) garlic.
    Add ground turkey to a medium sized bowl, and add in the onions, carrots, parsley, basil and garlic.
    Season with fresh ground pepper and a little salt.
    Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add them to the meat mixture.
    Add the almond flour, and mix everything together.
    Form meat mixture into 16 evenly sized meatballs with your hands.

    Spray a baking sheet with olive oil and place meat balls on tray.

    OH YUM! I have been making a low cal turkey meatball recipe for a while now but hadn't thought of grating in onion and carrot- will def try this!
