Alopecia

Hi, I've had long hair that I absolutely love (my crowning glory) for as long as I can remember. Around six months ago I noticed a tiny patch on the top of my head thinning and didn't think too much about it as I was on medication following a Bimalleor Fracture to my ankle. Then it started getting worse until it was the size of a tennis ball. I was absolutely gutted. I'm getting married soon and wanted to wear my hair down! I went to my Dr who said I have Alopecia that is brought on by stress. The weird thing is that even though I had broken my ankle I was feeling in no way stressed. I've been reading the threads here about PCOS and it has got me wondering whether my alopecia could be PCOS. My fiance and I have been trying to conceive without luck and I usually get mild cramping. Reading these threads have got me thinking I'm going to see my Dr again and get some further tests done.

I have got thinning hair and it upsets me so much as I too had really long hair, now its shoulder length but its still too thin. Hoping my hair will grow better with weight loss xx
