starting sw while pregnant?
hi there, im new to sw! havent actually started yet tho am really wanting to. im nearly 15 wks pregnant and want to try and eat as healthy as poss and really limit any more weight i put on with this pregnany. ive heard that i can do sw while pregnant. got a few questions tho, as i have never attended a sw class would i be allowed to now that i am pregnant? also i have heard that i need to get somthing from my mw to take to class? i see my mw when im 16 wks would i be able to go to the class this tue or would i have to wait? also what exactally is it i would be asking the mw for for me to take?!
sorry for all the questions i hope you are all well and enjoying pregnancy
I could be wrong so don't take this as gospel. You can definately join SW while pregnant. When you attend your first meeting you will need to tell the leader you are pregnant, I think she will then give you a form for your midwife to sign. As I say I could be wrong, but I'm sure someone will be along soon to correct me if I am.
Good luck and congratulations on your pregnancy.
Good luck - I have heard that it's the only 'diet' approved for pregnancy. It's not really a diet but an eating plan. There have been some great successes though from what I've read.
