Thread: Goodmorning 19 weeks and back on slimmingworld

Hi girls hope you guys dont mind me joining you all here .
Yesterday i had the most horrendus scan ever the woman doing it made me feel like a useless fat lump and basically i was told to go away and come back when my baby was big enough to see better as it was so difficult to scan someone my size ... I was devestated , I have so far only gained 1 poubd this pregnancy and i am 5 stone lighter than my heaviest weight ..This woman made me feel like crap.

Anyways i contacted my old slimming world consultant last night and asked if i could go back to class .

So from today im back on plan to be honest even though ive not been on plan ive still been following the basic principles and trying to eat healthly.

Congratulations on your pregnancy.
Is this your 1st baby im on my 3rd im almost 29 wks.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience at your scan she sounded so rude can't believe their even allowed to say that to you. It might not been to do with your weight it could of been the position of your baby, mine are always being difficult at scans in my first pregnancy had to go for long walks to get baby moving and with my other babies they tend to hide under my c scar.

My 20 wk scan didn't go that well either the lady sent my partner out cos my lo was chatting to herself, so he missed it and I kind of missed it to as I had to face the other side, she was quite rude to start of with asking us loads of questions why was we having a scan. The only good thing was we had to come bk 2 wks for growth scan and we had a lovely lady so really hope you get a different person next time.

atm im finding it hard to stick to plan but I have been reasonably good during this pregnancy manage to keeps the pounds off so far. Only just started gaining im hoping not to gain more than stone during this pregnancy so I can get back on track with weightloss afterwards.

This is baby number 5 hun ..a unplanned big surprise thats taken a bit of getting used to ,..my youngest will be almost 9 when baby arrives so a very big gap ...

sounds like your doing really well though this pregnancy .

ive been big with most of my pregnancys and have never came away feeling like that.. Im actually considering not going to the next one at the moment.

slimming world went ok last night i was 3lb heaveir than when i weighed at weight management last week but i normally weigh there on a morning and its differnt scales ect ... will just be following the scales at class though from now on.

I'm 18 weeks nearly I'm having a c section at 39 weeks so we will have our babies the same time x

Think ill end up with one aswell hun. but they will still be close
