Lauras Diary of Incubating

Hey girls, I am starting a new diary here if everyone doesn't mind. I've just found out I'M PREGNANT :with my 3rd baby. I am so happy.

I've decided to put my diary here because I don't want family to discover my news until I am 12 weeks. I've managed to keep it to myself the last 2 pregnancies so trying to do it again this time, makes it seem shorter for everyone and if anything happens I can deal with it my way.

I'm hoping not to put on much weight with this pregnancy but my main aim is to eat as healthily as possible. With my last 2 pregnancies I didn't put on much weight during the actual pregnancies but after I'd had the kids I ate and ate for energy, drank lots of lucozade and generally didn't care too much about myself. I will not make that mistake this time!!

I may record my weight monthly just to see how I go, but if that becomes too depressing I might abandon the idea quickly lol. I think I'll also list tasks I want to do and complete, I've become lazy in the extreme since I got the BFP so I need to get moving again. I'll try and exercise as much as I can too. I usually do bootcamp but seen as thats a no no I might up my walking and try and fit some swimming in. I'd love to try going back to zumba too but I'll see how I go with the lighter exercise first.

I'm hoping my food will be mostly homemade and homebaked. I'll try and avoid too much rubbish and prepacked stuff. I love baking so there will probably be treats in everydays diary, but I don't mind as long as I make it myself and I know whats in it. I need to cut back on choc and chrisps as its doing my nausea no good at all. I'm going food shopping tomorrow so will stock up on fruit and crackers I think.

Please feel free to comment on anything I post and waffle on as much as you like xx

Hey Laura, I've come to subscribe. Massive congrats that fab news. How are you feeling?xxx

I'm not bad Tracy, bit tired and nauseous, but not to bad yet. How are you?

I'm ok, bit stressed coz its Lola's birthday Wednesday and I always stress over their birthdays, it's all fine, everything's sorted but I won't relax until its over:)

I'm really pleased for you but don't envy you atall:) I suffered such bad morning sickness first time round but coped but 2nd time I was hospitalised with hyperemesis it was awful. I've been scared for life now though and have a massive phobia about sickness. I hate that nauseous feeling I can't even go on roundabouts or fair rides. Are you gonna find out the sex when you have a scan?

No I've no interest in knowing the sex. I think its like a nice wee reward at the end of the labour to find out what you have lol. I had bad enough full 9 months sickness with my son. I had first and last trimester sickeness with my daughter. I don't mind though, all part of the process :D. Don't know how people coupe with hypermesis though!! I'm hoping this pregnancy goes smoothly, I was in hospital alot with my son, he wanted to come into the world at 24 weeks. Thank god he stayed put a good bit longer.

Aww is it Lolas birthday? Wee pet. I'm sure it'll all go smoothly. I understand the stress of it though. Thank god at my daughters school the children don't seem to invite everyone to their parties!!

Ugh feeling really sick now all of a sudden, think maybe I need to eat something. I've been unbelievably bad this last couple of weeks so off to scrounge out something a bit healthier. xx

If you feel sick though you've gotta eat what you fancy. I put a box of rich tea biscuits next to my bed and nibbled one as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning.

I left it really late to hand out the invites because the kids were off for Easter so I let her invite quite a few because I thought with it being such short notice most of them won't make it but its backfired and there all coming:( I was just worried that there would be no one there. It's ok though because the place she's having it isn't too expensive and party bags are included in the price and were making her cake. A barbie mermaid cake. Ralph loves making their cakes, he's really good at it too. I make the sponges and he decorates them.

I'm surprised to hear that you were sick worse with your son, theres lots of old wives tails about morning sickness but I've always believed its worse with girls because of the massive female hormone overload. That's what they told me about hyperemesis anyway:)

We didn't find out the sex first time round but did 2nd but because of the sickness I knew it was a girl and wasn't amazed when they confirmed it. It was a lovely surprise though first time round. I do think I'm very lucky having one of each.

Ohh by god, its a good job you weren't having it in your house, that would have been a nightmare!
I was convinced first time round I was having a boy, so my daughter was such a surprise, second time around I just assumed I'd have another girl and my boy arrived lol...Gentlemans family. Love having one of each. I don't mind what I have this time but I think my daughter would love a wee sister.

I ate alot of dry cream crackers last time round. I don't seem to fancy anything yet so I'm just eating what I think I need iykwim.

Off out now to drop daughter to speech and drama xx

THOUGHTS
So not to bad but not great either! Such a busy busy day, didn't have time to sit long and dinner was a rush job before kids went to bed. Mondays are always a manic day. Didn't get time to do any of the extra house work today so have so much to do tomorrow. So sorry I was so lazy last week now! Ahh well live and learn.

I'm knackered now so just gonna chill and watch a bit of tv. I've a bit of a pulling feeling in my pelvic now so either its baby making a little more room for itself or I did too much. I had really strong waves of nausea today but thank God no getting sick and it passed quickly. I need to make sure I don't leave too much time between meals I think to help. And I am so tired all the time!!!

Hope everyone is well xx

I am extremely tired and lazy today thus resulting in lots and lots of eating crap :(. I'll log it all truthfully later, but it will be shocking. I'm feeling abit kinda sad today too, my symptoms come and go and sometimes it makes me worry, but I have to be optimistic or it'll drive me mad till the baby starts to move and gives me a bit more reasurrance. Hope everyone elses day is going well. xx
