Hi. I have today found out I'm pregnant with baby no.5. I think I must be about 6.5 weeks. Up until today I have been following the Cambridge weight plan. I have lost 40lbs in 9 weeks and now I'm really worried I'm going to pile it back on again..... I'm still in shock I think. We are getting married 9 weeks today. Would love some support please. I know I'm so lucky to be pregnant again and I don't want it to sound like I'm not happy, because I am. I'm just so shocked, and a little bit scared. Really don't want to fall back in to bad eating habits..... Help!!

Congratulations hun both on the pregnancy and getting married and well done on the weight loss. I know a few people that follow slimming world to try and keep there weight down during pregnancy so you could look into that x

Hey chick, thank you. I have got my head in to gear now, initial shock over!! Yes I think sw is definitely the way to go. Have been looking into it. Nausea has kicked in so munching as and when to try and keep it at bay at the mo. So far weight has stayed the same. When sickness fades off, full steam ahead with sw.....

Hi, we'll firstly a MASSIVE congratulations on your BFP! I'm assuming your still walking around in a daze. It's all very surreal isn't it. Would love some support with keeping weight gain to a minimum. I have had severe sickness for the last 3 weeks, was advised by Dr to go to hospital on Monday to be put on a drip. Really didn't want this again, so he prescribed me Cyclizine tablets. That was on Monday, just about starting to feel human again. For me sickness usually subsides by 12 weeks, think I'm about 10 weeks today. Once I'm feeling better (and can stomach more than dry white bread) I will be joining sw. Really don't want to use this pregnancy as an excuse to eat for England as I have done with my others. Congrats again on little bean.....

Congrats on your pregnancy! Im 10+2 today and have had the sickness too. I havnt been able to stomach much more than jacket potatoes and toast/jam and even those I have to force down me to get something in my stomach.

It really does get to that stage of just wanting to feel a bit more 'normal' again doesnt it lol Im so fed up of feeling so ill now, just want it to do one!

I feel a bit more human today and Im hoping that its all going to ease off. Ive been off work for 4 weeks already. Awful

Yay, congrats on your pregnancy to. I'm 10+1 today so only a couple of days between us. I have had sickness with all but 1 of my pregnancies. I became a full time mum after my last (he will be 2 next month) but with my 1st 3 I worked full time and was off sick for 8 weeks with each... I suppose looking at the positive side of things, sickness is the sign of a good strong pregnancy.... That's what my midwife told me at my booking in appointment last week whilst I was being sick into a sick bowl!!! These Cyclizine tablets have been fab, I'm feeling normal again!! When do you have your 12 week scan? I'm booked in on 4th July. Two weeks and counting..... Hope your feeling ok.

Im booked in for my 12 week scan on 2 July! :) Ive had 8 week and 10 week scans already and at the 10 week scan we saw baby wriggling around/hiccuping..was amazing <3

My sickness has actually eased off in the last couple of days and I feel a bit more normal, but thats happened a while ago too and then it came back with avengence lol Im supposed to go back to work on Monday and I dont know whether I will continue to feel 'ok' now or whether the sickness will come back again. ARGH!

hi rachel congrats on your pregnancy :) i was on slim and save, then joined a rosemary conley and lost 3st 11lbs before falling pregnant so i know just how you feel about not wanting to put in back on. i still go to rc class for exercise and to get weighed and its helping me keep on top of it, so i think sometimes a class of some sort can be really helpful. bit sad when the scales go up after working hard to get it going down lol xx

Hi Lucy, congrats to you also on pregnancy and fab weight loss. I think it's awesome your keeping up with the RC exercise. That's one thing I have always been rubbish with, exercise!!. How far along are you? Are you finding it ok keeping your weight on an even keel? Since starting these anti sickness tablets on Monday my appetite has appeared it's gorgeous head. Trying my best to be as good as I can....

Eek I'm 12 weeks today. I have my scan tomorrow morning. I'm relieved its finally here, my tummy has expanded in the last week and I'm looking well and truly pregnant. So don't think I can keep this under wraps for much longer even if I wanted to.
I also have my wedding dress fitting tomorrow evening (I'm getting married on 28th July). I'm really worried its going to look awful now I'm pregnant. I'm about 6lbs heavier today than I was when I originally tried it. With a much bigger belly!! I think because I lost so much weight before I found out I was pregnant I'm really struggling with the pounds creeping up and the thought of my wedding dress not fitting. Feeling a wee bit low about everything today....

Aww how exciting.. Getting to see little bean..
OMG you're wedding is close.. Pity you couldn't break the news on the day.. But i'm guessing if yer baby belly is starting to show there's not much hope of keeping under wraps for another 3 weeks!!!
I understand yer worries hun but just try to enjoy it.. I think most of us on here lost weight in the hope of getting PG and now we are we're worried.. I'm following SW as best I can ATM and the plan is to do so until baby is here.. There will be slip ups and there obv will be a gain.. But as long as we keep it to a minimum where possible hopefully once bubs arrives it'll be easier to shift...
And they say if you breast feed you lose yer baby weight weight quicker too.. Which is just another benefit (first obv being that baby get all the nutrition it needs naturally)

Scan went well. Little bub was wriggling around. Felt good to see him/her. My dates are spot on so 12+1 today. Really want to post pic but don't know how?
