I am going to be brave and start a thread

Hi all well I am 9 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I am as it says in the title going to start a thread after having a miscarriage last year I am a little bit nervous about starting a thread before my first scan but I got my first scan date for the 5th of September so i thought i would start one even though I have my scan appoitment i still have not seen or even heard from the midwifeso god knows when they are going to be in touch hopefully it won't be to much longer I wish these next 3 weeks would hurry up as these 12 weeks are taking forever although I have been feeling sick I have not been sick the only other symptom I have is sore boobs so I am lucky in that sense although I like the idea of being sick as it shows how healthy your pregnancy is

Heyyy.. Have just read yer intro and don't worry about the no sickness thing.. You know how much fretting I've been doing over the exact same thing... And all was perfect yesterday..
So although the common phrase is "morning sickness is the sign of a healthy pregnancy", Its not always the case...
I know this is so hard to believe when its you in that situation, as no matter how many people said it to me, I let it in one ear n out the other but its so true...

Hi girls I am fine thanks looking forward to my holiday although it is only going to be me and the kids as my other half can't get time off work but it should still be fun and it will take my mind off worring and by the time I come home I will be nearly 11 weeks so then I only have a week and a half left then I get my scan I just can't wait to tell everyone as only you lot my best friend and my other half know I am pregnant because keeping it secret has been quite hard although I am not 100% convinced my family are going to be that pleased at first as they already think I have enough kids but I don't care as it is my life and me and my other half are the ones that look after and pay for them so I don't know why they have such a problem with it although I must admit xmas and birthday are bit expensive for them

So true although my mum and dad both give all the kids 30 each for birthday and xmas so with 7 grankids it does all add up and my sister is also trying for a baby as she only has the one so next year they could end up with 2 new grankids which I don't think will please them much until they are born then I am sure they will love them just like the rest and I think big families are great although my kids can drive me mad sometimes I would not change a single thing

You pay for your kids so its up to you how many you have. I'd have loved half a dozen but I don't want to be in my forties still having them, plus this pregnancy has kind of put me off doing it more than once more. Haha. Xx

I def want another but this one will be at least 3 before we even think about it. If I suffer next time like I have this time it wouldn't be fair on Plum because I've literally been useless for the best part of 18 weeks. The one thing we've decided though is no treatment. No putting ourselves through hospitals etc again. If it happens it happens.

Once you hold the baby in your arms you seem to forget how bad you felt and how much pain you have gone through and
It all proves just how worth while yhe whole process is. I am feeling very tired today so I think I will have a nice early night although the feeling of sickness seems to be a little bit better today as long as I eat x
