Hi! I'm 14 weeks pregnant (due July 7th) and I'm going to start back with slimming world this week. I THINK (and hope!) my morning sickness is starting to subside, so that's why I'm starting now as I'm able to stomach more food! Ha!

Are you just doing it yourself at home or with a SW group? How are you finding it so far?

Hi Kate! Congrats to you! Yes the morning sickness does not help does it! I lost 5lbs in my first week so very pleased with that because i couldnt stick to the plan 100% because i just felt sick all the time. Lets just say i had a lot more bread and crackers than allowed!!

I go to the groups... I do find them useful but very very long! I go at 6.30 and dont leave till after 8. But i guess thats because im in a big group!

Are you going to group or doing solo?

Let me know how u get on xx

Hi! Morning sickness is horrible. Luckily I only had 2 days of it and then I discovered travel sickness wristbands. I wear them now and I only feel sick when I remove them.

    They do work yes
Initially they didn't but I was wearing them too low on my wrist so I looked up on the web where to wear them and they are brilliant. Until I take them off in the evening and I do feel a little nauseous

Don't worry about gaining in early pregnancy. I have gained a bit and my midwife said it's normal, bloating and body preparing. We are all different. It may be that you won't gain much in 2nd trimester.

Yes it's normal! Your body is totally changing and adapting to grow a baby. I was 100% first 3 weeks and gained 2lbs or 2.5lb each time then had a bad week as I was annoyed lol. But you need to accept the gains or Sts.

    I'm up just over a stone now. Wish I wasn't but it's happened x

I just felt really rubbish after the weigh in. In front of the group she was trying to convince me thst i must be doin sumthing wrong. But then afterwards in private she said shes not allowed to say anything in group. But she thinks its just hormones. Im eating healthier than ever before. Got fruit n veg coming out of my ears!
