I make this quite a bit on my Low Carb diet.. It really hits the spot and takes away ALL cravings for Pizza!
I use the "Egg Bread" recipe posted in this forum. About 1 - 2 slices (any size I want).
I take 0 or 1 carb catsup (a few tbsp's) and mix some italian seasoning, garlic salt, and parmesan cheese into it and slap it on both slices of "bread" .. I top it with a few fresh mushrooms, onion, a little bit of 0 carb fat free cheese and whatever type of meat I want or have on hand. (Options are endless) ... Once I have it all ready to go, I either stick it in the oven until the cheese melts all up and the veggies cook up nice.. OR I stick it under the broiler. Something else that I have done is I take the 2 slices of "bread" and make it into a Pizza Sandwhich--- then wrap it up in some tin foil and bake for awhile.. YUMMM.. Turns out kinda like a Pizza Loaf or Grinder. It's delicious!
Not as good as the real thing, but it will keep you happy that's for sure!
