Smile Stacey's Thoughts & Feelings Slimming Diary

    Hi All
I thought I'd make myself a diary here to say how Im feeling about the plan etc. I did one of these when I was doing Slimming World too & found it really helped.
I would love it if any of you want to join in & give me any advice/help on anything too & I will do the same back if anyone needs it.

So yesterday was my first day on the Rosemary Conley diet. I left the class feeling really motivated after the workout but was a little bit confused by the diet so I spent the afternoon reading through the booklets & then wrote out a week's worth of menu's that I can stick to.
My Husband Gaz also helped me last night take all my measurements on the fab magic measure

Day one went well and I didn't at all feel hungry, the power snacks really help fight any hunger.

I planned out the next day's worth of meals last night too so now Im about to go to work & not worrying about what lunch I will have etc.

Hope you are all having a great day on plan.
    Love Stacey xxx

Hey! Sounds like you've done reallyyyy well so far We're similar weights and heights, and both 7lb away from goal so I know how hard it is to budge those last stubborn pounds! Can I be a bit cheeky and ask you why you switched from SW though? All the best for your RC diet! xxx
    .

    5 stone gone forever!

So how can you do it too?

    You don't get it by
    Staring
    You don't get it by
    Wishing
    You don't get it by
    Drooling
    You don't get it by
    Hoping
    You don't get it
    Easy

    You get it by
    Getting off your ass
    Working for it
    Every second
    Of every day
For the rest of your life.

    Hey Hun
its nice to hear from you
We can do it so will be good to keep in touch and see how you are getting on.
The reason I changed over from SW is because for the last 5-6 months I have not been able to shift anymore weight. Really want to get this last 7lbs off.
Im really small framed up top but need to get my thighs, bum & legs in better shape as im abit bigger on the bottom half so really thought RC will help alot with the exercise class aswell as the healthy eating.
Also im only on day two & already finding the portion control loads better.
I feel full & satisfied from my meals so really hope it will shift those lbs.

Hows your RC diet been going?

So day three of the RC Diet is over
And I feel great. Still feeling full and satisfied from the meals I have had so far and enjoyed varying them each day making sure I have something different.
Must admit been abit lazy with the exercise so must make sure I get some done over the next few days.

I have had another good day on plan. Although tonight's dinner went abit to pot.
Had what I thought was a nice piece of beef but once it was cooked it was all veiny and fatty throughout, so ended up only eating a plate of vegetables, gravy & a few roast potatoes lol...

Felt absolutely starving after that so just made myself a bowl of instant mash with a slice of cheese in.
A little bit over my calories for the day but I feel better now.
Nothing worse than feeling hungry after you've had a meal.

    Rosemary Conley Diet
I joined RC in the hope to get this last 7lbs off.

    Left photo 23rd May 2011: 8 stone 11lbs
    Right photo 31st May 2011: 8 stone 7lbs

In one week I have lost 1 inch from my waist, hips & both thighs.

I was inspired by a lady called April in June's Rosemary Conley magazine where she took photos of herself each week. I know you cant see a big difference in my shape but its still nice to compare
