Trying again

Hi there,

Have not been on this forum for ages, but i am determined to lose some weight, i am 57 years young LOL
And i think i am 5ft 3in tall, but then again i think i have shrunk a bit over the years , and i weigh 11 st 7 lb
and looking back to when i was 35 i thought i was fat at 9st 7lb,WOW if only i was 9st 7lb again that would be great .

anyway, RC is the way to go for me as
i find it the easiest to follow , in fact just following the 5% rule seems to work for me even if i dont do the exersise
videos.

so its a case of not eating big bars of choccy, and not eating loads of crisps , and lots of full fat cheese. and real butter smothered on jacket spuds.

the thing is i know what makes me fat and i just have to stop buying that stuff.

if its in the house its just to tempting for me .

SELF DICIPLINE is what i need , at the moment i am in the zone to do Whats right lets hope it lasts

off now to get the food shop in , and it will be the right things .
9st 7lb here i come

Not done Rosemary Conley before, but starting tomorrow, using the online site.
Good luck :)

I know that i feel slimmer round the waist ,and my tummy is not so big , yet i dont think i am losing that many lbs, i seem to be some days 11st 6lb or some days 11st 5lb

and the belt on my jeans is doing up on the 2nd hole instead of the first , but as for losing lbs i dont think i am .

and hubby says i look slimmer in the face, its really strange , but i am still in the zone and buying all the low fat things so i am still trying to carry on .

my goal at the moment is 11stone the scales this morning said 11,5 but after my shredded wheat and skimmed milk it went up to 11,6

Hello Mayy
I have followed the RC way for over 2.5 years and it's slow but steady which for me is definitely the best way.
How has your week been this week?
Are you measuring out your foods?

Hi there, i am glad to say the scales are saying 11;3 no i am not weighing food but i am certainly feeling slimmer especially
round the waist area.

even though i said i was 11;7, when i came back on this forum , i was actually 11;10 a couple of months ago , so cutting out the fatty things seems to be working fine at the moment. so really i have lost half a stone in the last couple of months

i have just been looking at the new rosemary mag and i have just made that bread and blueberry pudding , its in the oven right now,

but i am thinking i will have to stop myself from eating to much of it ,

I AM IN HEAVEN the recipe for the bread and blueberry pudding in the sept mag is so delish , i have just got it out of the oven and devoured a portion of it .

i thought i would be dissappointed with it because i used to love bread and butter pudding, but this one made without butter is very nice

i just have to stop myself from having a 2nd helping , it keeps calling to me ........eat me:D

Just got back from a week in Cornwall, i am back to 11- 6

i was very naughty and had a couple of those nice cornish pasties, and a clotted cream and scone , but not to worry because i am getting back to the low fat now i am back from my hols .

11stone 3lb So back to the weight i was before i went on my hols to cornwall. I was a bit worried when i came back off my hols and i was back to 11.7 , but no worries , i am back in the zone and hoping to get to 11stone over the next couple of weeks , and then the goal will be 10;7 one step at a time and hopefully i will get to about 9stone 7lb in the end

wow you have done really well , are you still 8stone 8lb

Ohhhh well done Mayy. Just 1 ounce under a stone makes me feel positively skinny. here's to you getting to 1 ounce under 10 stones

:) Cant wait for that to happen, to think that years ago i thought i was fat when i was 9st 7lb and come to think about it, i think i was 11st when i was 9 months preggy, years ago , i really must get back to the 9st 7lb you never know i might just knock some years off me :)

down to 10st 11lb

1 lb to go and i have lost a stone:D

Hi there. This forum is new to me but reading your threads I could relate to what you're saying! I originally started following the rosemary conley way 4 years ago, the less than 5% fat rule definitely works for me, in the past I've done low cal and calorie counting but never lost much and it didn't stay off. I started at 11st1lb and got down to 9st10lb in about 5 months. Since then I'd put on couple of pounds but then lose again but in the last 4 months it's gone to pot! No excuse really but got new job and moved house to a place that needs completely updating. I've done no exercise and have eaten whatever I fancy, my clothes are now snug, last weekend I weighed 10st 3lb and my body fat has gone up 3%! I've decided to start from scratch again from Sunday and do rosemary's kick start for 2 weeks. I know I will find it hard and thought this forum might help me :)

By the way (and should have said this first) well done on your weight loss, it's great when you get to 1 stone!

hi mayy well done on your loss x x
