Condensed Route to Management

We found out last night that our LLC is giving up her franchise on 24th July and from that date we'd have to travel to Grantham if we wanted to carry on.

She has said however that as we're in week 12 of foundation now, that she will keep our group together and do a mixed development/RTM group with us and do it in the time we've got left.

Has anyone else done a condensed RTM and how has it gone?

I'm not anywhere near my target yet but I was planning on doing RTM now anyway and hoping to lose another stone on it before losing the last couple of stone by exercising and low carbing. This development has definitely made my mind up though because Grantham is about an hour from here and I can't be trekking there every week on top of all the other things I do.

I'm just looking for a bit of reassurance please that doing a condensed RTM won't muck everything up and I'll end up back where I started.

Don't worry MrsP, at least she is not leaving you high and dry.
I did a slightly condensed RTM and I don't think it has been a problem for me at all. I wanted to get a good bit of the way through before my holiday at Easter. I wasn't allowed to condense the trigger weeks, so from week 8 I had to do it straight. I also did the first 3 weeks straight, mixed 4 & 5 and 6 & 7. Basically the first half of the week I did week 4, then switched to week 5 etc.
You should still lose a good bit in RTM and I have found it really easy to cut back and lose a little, RTM is good training.
Personally I wouldn't try and mix the early weeks as this is when you are likely to lose the most weight still.
Even if you are still only in week 10 or something when your LLC finishes up, I don't think it would matter if you finished on your own. Slimseaa is doing RTM totally on her own (her LLC just quit), with a bit of help from us on here and she is doing great.

It is totally doable and I am positive you will be totally fine.

Thanks Ali, I suppose I'm lucky that our group is very supportive of each other and we do plan to meet up at least monthly afterwards to provide support and encouragement to each other.

I'm now in the position where I have been pretty much forced to start rtm 2 weeks early - my bp has dropped to make me hypotensive and the doctor wanted me to come off the diet all together but I have argued that I'm going to do rtm come hell or high water so I have agreed to start now and do a modified version of it.

Today I had a small chicken breast baked with a salad of lettuce and celery with choppd mint and parsley. I made a dressing of 1tbspn fat free dressing with 2tbspns of lemon juice and I only managed to eat about half of it before I felt full.

It was strange eating again and I think I'm going to carry on with week 1 until my meeting on Thursday then discuss at length with my LLC how to continue from there to raise my bp so I stop fainting.
