Good but interesting day!

First of all, whoever mentioned the Total yoghurt with jelly - I LOVE YOU!! Oh my good God! How gorgeous is that! I must admit that I added three teaspoons of artificial sweetner powder, which I'm not sure is totally healthy, but gawd it was just delicious!! I wanted to go back for another portion, but limited myself and stuck to my food goals that I wrote last night/this morning.

I've totally enjoyed my food choices today and am so amazed at how my tastes have changed, how good healthy food tastes and that if write down my food goals for the day, it's so much easier to stick to it, despite stresses continuing!!

It's a good, good day!

Oh, and BL if you are reading - I haven't touched the evil Diet Coke today! Made a decision after reading your message that I'm steering clear as I said. I had sparkling water with peach flavouring - not sure if this was totally legal in week 2 but week 3 starts on Friday and I'd rather that than drink evil Coke! Anyway, the water was also just gorgeous and far tastier!

Well done dear. :) I did read your other rant/thought process last night but was too tired by then to answer! I'm so very glad you caught yourself, and decided to come here for advice and to have some common sense slapped back into you by BL, LS, and Splenda and the rest!
You're doing absolutely brilliantly, and I do hope you get some time to spend with the children :)

As for Diet Coke, I did mention in my first post that it DOES make you feel more hungry - it's absolutely evil...! A special treat on special occasions (like when going to a pub with mates) is ok! But not everyday because that will lead into problems. Well done for knocking that one on the head. :D

Thanks Minerva - yep, you lot are the best!! You did set in motion my good old think about the Diet Coke and also I just laughed at your comment on my 'rant' - how true and descriptive of what went on in my head last night, which I then wrote down here and you all indulged me! Love to you all - I genuinely don't think I could do it without your help...

Just catching up here PS - well done on resisting the evil DC!!!!

I would not even have one for a special occassion - like any addictive thing - "just on" leads to another. you might get away wiht it one week - and go three weeks without - then it becomes 2 weeks without - then 1 - then days - then hours, etc. At least for me, so I just plan on never having it again. its been 16 months, and its not been a problem once, so think its safe to say I am cured. Its just not worth it for me to even try "one".

you are doing great hon. Well done!

Sorry this is so late - just trying to get caught up now after a few heavy weeks. :)
