Starlights VLCD Diary - Day two done and dusted

So the dreaded first day is over and its not been too bad.

Had a few periods of being seriously hungry but they passed.

Had a choc shake for brunch - not bad but not keen on the after taste, going to try it hot tomorrow I think

Had half a choc & orange bar with a coffee this afternoon

chicken soup this evening - must admit I like it

Then the 2nd half of my bar & another coffee tonight

I do however need to drink more water, Ive had 1.5 litres to drink plus my shakes and 2 coffees but I need to drink more, will try get another half litre in before bedtime

One day down... how many to go?? lol

Well done on day one completed! Before you know it you will have done the first week - I am finding the water intake ok, its easier if you keep a bottle in the fridge so its nice and cool and having it throughot the day rater than trying to glug down a load in one go. Its suprising how you get through it that way.

Day 2 under my belt now

Had my choc shake hot this morning, what a difference it made!!! Was really nice. I had a toffee bar today halved it again and had half late afternoon and half late evening. Tried the tomato soup tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Might actually order the bumper pack in a week or 2

Not in ketosis yet as Im absolutely starving!!! Ive also got a headache and Im really cold... still no pain no gain eh?

    Heres to day 3

You're at the hardest part right now, just another day or so and you will have cracked it.

Stick at it, never mind how many more days to go just concentrate on getting through today, or even just the next couple of hours.

Motivational tip - I know it's not always a good idea but by day 2-3 most people will already see a bit of movement on the scales. A sneaky peek may show you that it's already working and spur you on to stick with it........
I would be unstoppable if I could only get started!

    How I'm doing:

    My diet blog: http://yambabe.blog.co.uk/

    Total:
    Weeks 1-5: 21lbs
    Weeks 6-10: 15.5lbs
    Weeks 11-15: 11.5lbs
    Weeks 16-20: 8lbs
    Weeks 21-25: 9lbs

    Refeed/Maintenance:
    August 2010 3lbs

So another day in. STILL no Ketosis which is driving me nuts. I definitely have a taste in my mouth but this constant hunger is just awful

Had a hot choc for brunch again today, half a bar late afternoon, vegetable soup for dinner, now this was the one I didnt expect to like - but I did then my other half bar tonight

Water wise, Ive drunk 2 litres plus my soup and shake and a cup of coffee so not too bad.

    Peeing for Scotland mind you

Have you tried putting a peppermint teabag in the hot water to brew before making the hot choc? It's the only way I have the lipotrim choccy one. It's absolutely delish and sooo much nicer than any of those options drinks you might have tried!
