My journey back to me

this is My time to shine!
Right !
Sons 19 months old so time to take the bull by the horns and kick my own (rather sizeable) backside back into gear ......
so im starting s and s tomorrow following a year of treating what goes on upstairs regarding food i feel in a really good place to tackle this .
I did l. l about 5 years ago and kept it pretty much off ( up and down a stone or so )totally changed my lifestyle and food choices following l.l and took up distance running but it all went pete tong while pregnant with my son . so here i am ,starting from a very different place mentally but hoping to get some control and a mighty big kick start to re motivate myself and get back on the road back to me .Hoping theres some other newbies around to share this journey with ....

hi there , initially a couple of stones so that i can get to a weight i know i can run ok with , but all in all i want to loose 4 or 5 stone to be back at my low range ... plus i can run like whippet then :0)
really looking to see how it goes , im going on my o.h cruise ship for 20 days in july so will plan to re feed the 14 days leading up to then and go back on plan once i get back .But if the running bug kicks in after the 1 st couple of stones lost ill go back to healthy eating and excersize , all in all a wait and see / play it by ear scenario :0)

Well day 1
Had a coffee and large glass of water followed by a vanilla caramel shake which was lovely .
Haven't had 2 nd shake as important not hungry so ill wait till i need it :)
 
well finally had 2nd pack at 4 , spag bol , was ok .
dinner was a cold boiled egg and some salad .
just had a nice hot coffee and bar whilst watching t.v ( cold setting in already )
all in all a good day for the 1st day , feeling ok , but im prepared for tomorrow thats usually the worst day if i remember rightly .... roll on day 4 :0) and the big K !!! lol

thanks hun , im certainly hoping so , didnt think id have to do this again after lighter life , but then i didnt figure on having another baba ... but thats it now :0)

I'm in a training course today- had oatmeal at 7am and my train was delayed so had a bar, just boredom really- naughty!
Here's to what I imagine will be a fairly tricky day for me, all prepared tho so no excuses!

Haven't tried oatmeal yet will give it a go tomorrow . Had chock crispy shake this morning . Was fine if a bit random :) but all good so far !!!!!

Hi suki, I resisted completely!! Thanks for asking.im only 3 1/2 lbs down on day 5, tiny bit disappointed with that but getting on with it. How has your day been??mx
 
itll come hun , theres not many diets youll loose that in 5 days , try to remember that , thats a great start .
my day went well didnt have 2nd pack again until 5 so had a soup before i had my omelet and salad . going to take 100g salad to work tomorrow as ive just realised ive only been having 100g at dinner time and its been enough so will split it so im not going without all day . no headache yet so im sure it will come tomorrow , im just hoping the big k fairy comes to play tomorrow , that will definately make life easier :0)
 
well done btw , thats a great achievement when youre faced with temptation .

Yes well I hope ketosis comes tomorrow for you, as you say, much easier then.

Id like to lose about 3 1/2 stone- id then be a size 10-12 which I'd be happy with. I'm sis maker to you, always let a very active lifestyle, I have dogs etc and I used to run most days. I've just recently started my own beauty business and have two small children so I've taken a back seat to all that and I've let myself go. Like you said, need to take charge again!!!

i have a beauty salon and 2 small kids .... runnings been a passion for a while now but v difficult at this size , thats the buggest motivation for me right now , being able to run again for long distances .
was saying on another thread your lowish loss maybe due to it being evening and all the water youve drank all day , water weighs allot !!! just at thought :0)

west cumbria hun , ive had the salon for 12 years now , keeps me on my toes :0)
