    Hello

    My name is Kate and I am 26 years old.

    In February 2012 I quit smoking one of the best things I have done and am now coming up to nearly a year smoke free minus a couple of cigarettes I had while drunk! Lol!

    When I did quit I must have gained nearly two stone quite quickly as I just kept eating way to much naughty things! So by June 2012 I weighed in at 17 stone! Could not believe it! I have always been big but it was getting very bad by now and I thought if I kept going I would be 20 stone by Xmas.

    My best friend in Ireland told me about lipotrim as she had started and was losing quite bit so I thought I should give it a go. Never knew nothing about these types of diets and never really dieted before in my life. I done loads of research as I am like that. So thought I would give it a go.

    I never thought I would succeed at all. So from June I have done lipotrim on and off and have lost four stone 7 lbs. so happy never thought I could do it.

    I have still got two stone 7 lbs to lose.

    After being bored on lipotrim now have decide to try slim and save as it has more choice and is cheaper.

    So excited about doing this now.

    So last year was a good year with quitting smoking and losing weight. Feel so much better now.

    Bring on tomorrow !!!!!

    I had great support from the lipotrim section on this site and I hope get the same here.

    I have just put all my slim and save packets in four sections. So there all ready to go day by day.

    My first day I am having

    Sweet porridge
    Chocolate and praline bar
    Cookie and cream shake
    Mild curry

    Cannot wait

    Wow! Great loss so far :-) here to follow and support.
    I've just completed day 4 and feeling a lot better than yesterday. This is my first time on a vlcd but like you I gave up smoking (9 years ago!) and put on 1st7lbs then kept a bit of weight from both pregnancies and now want to get rid of it as quick as possible! I'm 1st down already so just another 2 to go :-)

    Oh jeez, a VERY long story....

    Basically, started on CD 7.6.12 and moved into sns 3 weeks later (crap counsellor, cost, travel). I had 5 planned days off for Disneyland and got straight back on. Losses slowish but steady, cheated once with cake, yogurt, curry, fruit (normal healthy ish foods) and then messed about for a few weeks eating too much protein!

    I reached 9 stone 13.5 middle of November and finished my last pack if sns. Started on dukan consolidation, have lost 6lbs more to maintain at 9-7 (except for 3 extra 'Christmas' lbs!) and loving it!

    Phrewww....

    Boring story, boring diet really but I'm the slimmest I've ever been and finally a learnt BMI!

    Your figure is great.

    Yeah heard of that diet.
    What exercise do u do ?
    I need to make my plan soon for maintaining after this. See what I am gonna do. Never want to get back to the size I was never !!

    I have learnt so much by dieting before I didn't care now I do ! Thought I would never be smaller in my life so why try I thought. Now I am getting there. I love it! Upwards and inwards !!

    Hi, when I started sns I was on school holidays so I walked for at least an hour a day with my dog (this was when I stopped feeling so dizzy and weak- and sorry for myself!)

    Currently I still walk (with occasional outbursts of running) but other than that, nada! I need to tone up, desperately. I'm erm currently 'deciding' and 'researching' the best way to tone up. I have bingo wings like my nan's and saggy thighs and belly, ukkk. Ok in winter but summer will not be so forgiving. I also need to fit in 2 children, full time job and uni so time is precious and I can't spend hours at the gym *makes a mental note to dig out yoga DVD in the morning!*

    The refeed scared me to death. I panicked. In the end I spent longer researching the refeed than I did the actual diet. I actually lost on refeed and found my 'happy' weight which was a bonus. Dukan works for me but there are lots of other ways to do it.

    Sns taught me LOADS about dieting, portion control, mind over matter and pure bloody greed!

    If I could I would still eat more than my 20 stone husband but I've finally learnt not to.

    Keep being strong, you'll see results ÜBER fast!

    I will look into things soon and not fall off the wagon

    My fiancé has been on and off lipotrim same as me but since August. He lost alot but has loads more to lose. He's over 20 stone. He is going to get back on lipotrim on Sunday. He's finding it hard at the mo.

    I know what u mean I could eat more than him but he's bigger than me?! With me it's greed ! Need to learn so much still.

    I haven't got kids and no dog would love a dog. But fiancé and me dog sit alot when we can. Got a visitor this weekend so will be doing walks !
    I need to stop being lazy as well.

    I was too Reena but after a VLCD you do honestly relearn things. I've maintained since middle of November and with dukan I'm in a sort of probationary period. Structured but not rigid.

    PLUS, I sold every last item of fat clothing and bought 'thin' ones. i can't afford to buy new fatter ones so if I'm fat, I'm also naked!!!

    You'll figure something out. we all will help you if necessary x x
