Less of Me for Summer
Well here I am around 4 months later...
I started a very brief S&S journey last year...did pretty well for two weeks then had some encouragement from my 'concerned' OH to rather go on a reduced calorie diet (watching my portion sizes etc.).
Now he is extremely active and can pretty much eat whatever he wants without gaining weight - me on the other hand are still carrying the post pregnancy weight around with me... I should point out my daughter is 3!
So right enter 2013 weighing even more than what I did last year this time - and time for action. Thought I would have learned my lesson, but nooo I joined WW on 5th Jan...hmmmm is all I can say. I don't have 2 years to lose the weight (seeing as though I lost mainly around a pound a week!) - I think it will be an excellent 'maintenance program' to follow to be honest - and one I may revisit one day when I am at goal. But for now I am too impatient. Plus I don't know how much more my work trousers will stretch before ripping- especially as I stubbornly refuse to buy bigger size trousers (again!)
I have ordered my S&S supply and it should arrive on Tuesday. Tomorrow I will follow a fruit detox day ready to start on Tuesday.
I feel like praying...interesting. Or perhaps I am so desperate - Please I cant go on like this, please let me stick it out and finally lose this weight for once and for all!
I must confess I looked at some motivational photo's before re-ordering supplies and wow the results are still amazing. When I was on the board 4 months ago, there was another newbie - and I have just checked to see that she has reached her goal weight in this time (whilst I was trying all things not working for me). I am so very happy for her and a part of me cant help thinking it could have been me if I stuck to it...BIG SIGH. But she is now my new inspiration - showing it does work - in a mere 3 months from now, my stats can look completely different too....
Lets see shall we...

Best of luck for tomorrow, surround yourself with motivation! If you're on Facebook, 'like' a load of fitness and inspiration pages, or if you have any celebs you wanna "look" like, put a poster or picture up somewhere, I have a picture of Arnie in his prime on my wall... Very inspirational! lol
It's cool your friend got to goal :) just shows that it can, and will happen if you persevere, wishing you all the luck in the world!

Thank you Aaron I appreciate the tips! Lol Arnie? We have a dvd of him back in his body building days somewhere at home...very funny to watch.
Hope my order arrive early tomorrow morning- Im ready...

Well here I am on day 1 - a later start than I planned- but so far so good.
Feeling great. Maybe Im just so happy to be doing something about my unhappiness?
Had choc shake for brekkies, veg soup for lunch and a choc praline bar now for a snack.
Planning on another shake tonight.
I do have a two day course later this week and am dreading the "refreshments and lunch" that will be provided. As it is not at my normal work location I am already trying to plan how I will sneak in and make my soup...hmm
I do know that this is it...and I refuse to break a good start for some sandwiches!

Work meetings are always hard, just try to stay focused and positive, maybe have the bar for lunch instead?
