Slim and Save is my SAVIOUR :D

    Hi Everyone

My names Annabel, I'm 19 and I've struggled with trying not to eat rubbish FOREVER.
I have a full on addiction to crisps, sausage rolls and my number one favourite BACON. (Worked out I spend £350 a year on bacon rolls.. WHO does that?!)
I work for an insurance company and there's always spreads of food for someone's birthday, retirement, wedding bla bla bla, so savoury is everywhere .. oh and I'm next to a vending machine that does NOT help!!! (Swear it screams my name)

Soooo.. last year I started the Cambridge Diet and was so miserable, but lost 16 pounds! Even though I cheated and ate McDonalds and pizza hut on the occasion.. oops. I didn't really like Cambridge, the shakes had a horrible texture and the soups were disgusting. So that's probably why I cheated to be honest. NEVER doing
Cambridge again... wouldn't recommend it. And I have tried it three times, so I've given it another chance, but just didn't agree with it.

So now I'm on Slim and Save and on Day Two.

I like that the bars don't make you feel like you're on a diet, the chocolate praline is so nice!
I had the caramel shake with hot water today, and tasted really good!
Don't feel like Im on a diet with SNS.
    LOVING IT!

I feel like this diet isn't going to be hard, nothing compared to Cambridge. Feeling positive that I can be skinny again someday

    Onwards and Upwards!

I'm on day two also, I'm surprised by how rich the meals are. Its good though, I can see it working out. The meals dont taste synthetic.
I found the cookies and cream slightly off putting in that it was like drinking raw dough. Nice but odd I think. The spicy spag bol was fresh, good and flavoursome. Optimistic.

Hi Annabel, good luck! I much prefer S&S to Cambridge, the packs are a million times nicer aren't they.

Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.
Obstacles are things a person sees when he takes his eyes off of the goal.
We would accomplish more things if we did not think of them as impossible.

Lost just under 3 stone on various diets in 2011-2012.
Restarting Slim and Save Jan 2013 to lose the rest!

Sounds like you're doing fab! I recently tried cambridge and found it awful...plus my consultant was really mean..only met him once as he pretty much yelled at a new starter because she had a tough week...not very supportive! I'm 22 so if you fancy a similar aged buddy let me know! x

There is no "TRY". There is only "DO" or "NOT DO"
