I'm 28 years old and very overweight.

I have now completed my family - had a little 2 months ago so its time to get my body back.

28 day pack ordered and arriving Tuesday however I will be starting tomorrow with 4 slimfast meals to finish off whats in my cupboard.

I have given my husband the responsibility of weighing me weekly and taking photos monthly.
He's weighed me tonight and I'm a whopping 18 stone!!!

I can't wait to see the lb/stones drop off!!
 
Hi lyndzi76 welcome aboard. Everyone is fab on here and very supportive. Logging on here is my lifesaver at times.

So far so good today. 2 shakes down and feeling great. Once the kids are asleep I have a list of jobs to do to keep me entertained and away from scoffing -
1) washing and ironing
2) water the garden
3) make hubbys tea & lunchbox

hi and welcome - 1lb and its been 1 day that just keeps you smiling because you know its going down already

I think I only need to lose 3lbs and that will be my first stone my weigh in is on Thursdays

Day 2 A good day really enjoyed it.
Meal 1 - Strawberry Shake
Meal 2 - Chilli Con Carne
Meal 2 - Museli Bar
Drink - 2.5 liters
 
I've neglected my diary abit as I've had a mammouth diary reading session. They have given me great inspiration to do a good job on this diet.

Today is a good day food wise but my 2 month old is being really mardy and wont settle since 5am she has only slept for about 2 hours. I was hoping to get a nap in today as I have a day at work tomorrow (One of my KIT days while on maternity)

So far had-
Oatmeal porridge - Not too bad but very sweet
Praline Bar - Yummy

While I type this can you believe she has fallen asleep!! No time for nap now though as need to go and get my 2 year old from nursery soon.

Day 3 completed 100%
Finished off with a mild curry, not sure if I'll be ordering these again.

Stupid stupid me. I've been daily weighing and just saw something I didn't like :mad:

I've weighed end if every day so far and these have been the results:
Day 1 - 1lb loss
Day 2 - 5lb loss
Day 3 - 3lb loss

I should of just waited for Saturday's WI.
 
I must admit I was weighing in daily too, I guess it was for reassurance. However I stopped two days before weigh in to see if I would have a surprise and I did :)

Its probably not good 1st for us to weigh in daily and by the sounds of it your weighing in the evening too....best time is 1st thing in the morning after shower/morning pee/poo...lol

I think I need to get my husband to hide the scales lol!! I have no self disapline.

My WI was Sunday night but were going to move it to a Saturday night. The reason we do it in the evenings is so the kids are in bed and we have some quiet time to weigh measure and take photos.
 
I wouldn't worry about the scales showing more than they did the day before Hun! Weighing in the evening though can show you as 3lbs heavier Hun, just so you are aware lol

you're doing great lyndzi , the boost you'll get at weigh in will keep you going hun. Water is your best friend xx

Been on maternity for 12 weeks and had a day back at work today (only a one off KIT day).

I haven't told anyone at work about the diet and no body commented about the amount of water I was consuming and the fact I didn't eat.
I deliberately didn't tell anyone as when I did Cambridge singer people said I was moody - however the people I was moody with was the 2 people I caught slagging me off by email.

I've just settled down for my final meal so today has gone -
DAY 4
Meal 1 - Caffee Latte Shake (not my favourite, probably won't be ordering again)
Meal 2 - Thai Soup (ok considering I'm not a soup fan, probably won't order again)
Meal 3 - Chocolate noir bar
Water - 2.5 litres

I feel good today and not hungry either. . . Think ketosis is here :)

Day 5 - even though I'm not hungry in the slightest I keep having thoughts of food going through my head. Looling forward to lunchtime meal pack...decisions decisions - shake or meal? x x
 
Seems your in ketosis...

I know what your mean about telling people even for me its just me and hubby who know...otherwise i tend to find ppl become very negative.
