Starting Over

Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself (again). I managed to lose a considerable amount of weight with slim and save but fell off the wagon and managed to put on 2 stone and 8lb :( Im currently 16st 1lb and im wanting to lose about 7 stone in total to get me to my goal. I had a really bad year with relationship troubles and im really feeling like its time do do something positive with my life and with my body. Im going on holiday with my skinny friends on Friday so im not looking forward to being the fat, hot and uncomforable one. Thinking of starting when i get back. Just looking for a bit of motivation to get me started. So re-start here i come! Wish me luck x :)

I'm sure you will have a wonderful holiday. Then you can focus on the plan when you get back. You've done it before and you can do it again.

I have just returned from my jolly holidays and today is my first day back on slim and save. I am on the lifestyle plan today and i am finding it quite easier than i expected. So far i have had a vanilla shake for breakfast and a thai soup for lunch. Cant wait to see the scales go down, its about time! I know this diet works for me as i had lost quite a bit of weight a few months back but i couldnt resist temptation and gave in. Im just looking for that push and inspiration. I know deep down i can do this, come on me!! xxx
 
Hey Pamela, maybe we could spur each other on. Good luck on your first day i hope it goes well for you, keep me upto date. Yesterday wasnt so bad for me, i feel like i just need to get back into the rhythm of things. Last night when i was sat down in front of the tv i just kept thinking about food. Grrrr. (Think i need to take up reading or something to take my mind of it!) xoxo
 
Yeah that would be good!. Yeah I know. Keeping busy is deffo the key I think. Ive just had my 1st shake mint choc. Was ok had it warm. Ive just been to bootcamp this morning. Wont be a regular thing but I had promised a friend I would go with her. Omg im aching. It was raining and im filthy lol. Hows today going? Xx
 
This morning is okay. I had another vanilla shake this morning and im thinking of having a mushroom pasta for lunch. Whats bootcamp like? What do you do on it? x
 
Mushroom pasta is my fav. Going to have that tonight with mushrooms for dinner. Bootcamp had different stations and you do a minute of each station, also sprints,boxing etc. Was horrible lol. Going to start a diary I think xxx
 
Thats a great idea. I might consider that. Would be a great way of writing my thoughts down, it may help get me through it. How long is the session for? x
 
Ah see ive only ever done 4 packs so dont have a clue either. Chicken? Tuna? Eggs salad lol xx
 
So i had my mushroom pasta for lunch and it was lush. Just trying to think of a few ideas for my low-carb meal :S x

I've had a salad a couple of days last week with chicken or tuna... Tho not the easiest to include a pack if that's what you're trying to do... Although 200g of lettuce is a lot so you could take salad for lunch then have other 100g of veg with a pack in the evening...
 
In the end i had a bit of salad with some chicken breast. Was quite full after it. I think i might just go onto simplicity myself, its much more easier for me, by the time i get home from work i just want something quick and easy. So four packs it is then! Thanks for the tip cheekychick, i can see that you have got to a great start yourself. I had my first WI yesterday. As soon as i woke up i couldnt wait to jump onto the scales and i can report that i have lost 8 whole pounds! Yeahhhh!!!!! I cant believe it, im so happy with that result. I had a bit of a rough start as i was trying to get back into a routine and in the swing of things i was going to start on the lifestyle but found that it didnt really fit around my hectic life as i dont really have time to cook. (One of the reasons why i became overweight) Its simplicity for me all the way i think. Looking forward to completing another week and hopefully getting just as good a result. I love slim and save. Hope you are all doing well xoxo :happy036:
 
Thanks for the tips CheekyChic, i may have a lifestyle day tomorrow and have a salad. I find them quite refreshing and fancy a change from just four pack a day. I seem to be having another good week. Cant wait to step on the scales again on Monday! How is everyone else getting on xoxox
 
Jumped on the scales this morning and i have lost 4lbs. Im really happy with that result!! No headaches or feeling rough, fit as a fiddle :)
Took a trip into town yesterday and went into my local hobbycraft store and i purchased a cross-stitch just to keep me busy during these dark autumn nights and to get my brain working, im thinking of starting it tonight.
