Hello Everyone

I find myself back on vlcd land once more. I seem to be an all or nothing kinda person and find 'normal' diets hard to stick to. I really need to address this as a healthy approach is the only way for me to maintain weightloss.

I have been low carbing since Monday so am hopefully close to ketosis. Slim and save packs due for delivery tomorrow :). No idea how much weight I have gained but only my super worn out stretched to the max clothes are fitting me :(.

Here's to getting back into my size tens (I don't think I'd even get into a 14 just now).

Good luck! Well done for starting off with the low carbing! And totally agree hat maintenance needs a healthy food approach as I've struggled and juggled with this last bit over the past 6 months.

Good luck on S&S x

Thank you people :)
Onto day 2, I go against the grain in that I always find the first few days ok then they get harder as time goes on. Not fair!

Day two done :)

Was offered a home made slab of chocolate cake today. Took it home (didn't want to say no as the person had made it especially for me) and gave it to my mum when she popped round to visit. Win win

Good luck :) well done on resisting choccy cake - not easy :p x

You're doing great ladies! Are you planning on sticking to vlcd through Christmas or will you take a break?

Thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't feel amazing after day three ;)

Kira we have the same goal! I got close once but it was so hard to maintain. I'll probably have to stay low carb if I want to get there and stay there.

Oh and Christmas. I'd love to say I'm staying on track but realistically it would be torture so I'll probably have a day or two off and try my hardest to get back on track afterwards.

Days 3 and 4 are generally the hardest days but some people find it harder as the time goes on so just depends on where your heads at really. I found days 3 and 4 the worst, I felt really hungry but since then I havent really struggled as its been quite easy to remember why I'm here and just resist the temptations xx

I'm not planning to vlcd on Christmas Day or New Year's Eve for sure and playing all other days by ear really. I'd like to get a few more days of vlcd completed just keep me under the 9st bracket.

Wow! Day 4! Practically half way through the first week! When is your weigh in? You will most definitely be in ketosis by now and hopefully feeling the ketosis buzz! I had a STS on this morning's weigh in which is a tad frustrating but then again I didn't complete a full SnS week although I did have a defect over the week calorie wise. I think it is water weight or water retention. Anyway I fed up of being in and out the 8"s over the past few weeks (because I haven't fully stuck to vlcd!) So I have switched to metric weigh in"s! Purely for a psychological boost and to hopefully help to stick to SnS completely for the next 2 weeks! I am also a serial daily weigher so it may just keep me interested and obsessed enough to stick with it.

Hope day 4 goes smoothly!

Morning! It's day 5 for you! Pleased day 4 went smoothly for you and hope today is an easy day!

Yes it's funny how we try all sorts to stay psyched up to sticking to plan! It's simple stick to,plan and lose weight.... Alas not so simple to stick to plan! I don't thin switching to metric with magic weight loss but as long as it stopped the boredom and diet fatigue I'm feeling it's worth trying.

Good morning and well do e in getting back on the wagon!

I'm also an all or nothing girl, and am just starting day 3 of my ss restart! So far so good!!

Are you finding it hard second time around?

Wow! You have done really well T&K's mum! Keep going you are doing a great job! For me this is my zillionth re-start on vlcd and it is a mental thing for me sticking to plan. It's either relatively easy first few days or extremely tough! The busier I am the less difficult I find it. Be interesting to see how Who;s that girl is finding this. We all seem to be roughly the same height with not much more to lose to goal. I have been so close to goal earlier this year but gained around 10lbs which I have struggled with ever since but I think mainly because I have not been as focussed and not 'desperate' enough to want to lose the weight. However, even with diet fatigue I am finding I really want to stay under the 9st point over the festive period and I am really going to try hard!
