Need this weight gone

Just thought I'd start this diary see if I can keep myself motivated. I'll be starting today and I already felt disheartened when I weighed myself I'm 18st 12. My main reasons for doing this is my health and my desire to be a better mum, I have 7 beautiful children from ages 10 months to 10 years. And I would love to take them swimming and go on fairground rides with them but I just don't have the confidence. X
Anyway today I've already tried the oatmeal I love it nice and sweet.
Looking forward to this weight falling off.

Hi Nickybrough1, my motivations are the same as yours as well as wanting to be 'me' again!
A diary is a great idea i just havent got round to doing one myself, but Good luck with your weightloss journey im sure you'll start to
see the weight falling off really soon :)

I don't like any of the water flavourings, some people can't be without them. You'll find what you like and what you don't like pretty quickly xx
 
Well day 1 done 100%

Breakfast: oatmeal
Lunch: mushroom pasta
Tea: scrambled eggs mushrooms
Snack: choc truffa bar
8 glasses of water
3 cups of decaf.

Just going to wait for me baby to go asleep then off to bed I go, so I'm not tempted by the nice stuff in the fridge. Hope I can get to sleep the wind is crazy here xxx

Thanks guys, I know 7 kids I must be stupid or crazy lol never a quiet minute in here. Got my oldest off school today with a temperature. I woke up with a really bad headache took some painkillers and it's gone. Surely it can't be carb withdrawal already?

For breakfast I've had two eggs and a coffee. Really starting to believe I might actually succeed this time xxx feeling positive xxx
 
Day 2 going well.

Breakfast, 2eggs
Lunch, Spaghetti bol
Tea, cottage pie with broccoli
Maybe try the hazelnut shake warm before bed x
Could do with drinking a lot more water haven't managed to have nearly enough today
Day 2 done 100%

I'm still feeling really positive today long may it last lol xx
 
Heya hun welcome to the forum and gd luck hun will be following :) u will have lost weight before u know it hun :) water is ur best friend on this diet :) n this forum is great for nite time readin n distraction hehe...luvly to meet u :) mwaahz
 
Thank-you haven't been able to get on stupid phone wasn't working. Anyway day 3 was really hard felt awful so had a bit of extra protein. Day 4 was better so was 100% and today I've had oatmeal, and caramel shake really enjoying the diet now although I did almost quit on day 3. But I know things must change, I always give up when things get a bit tough so no more (I hope lol). I'm still struggling with the water tho only managing about 1 litre a day. Xxx
 
Well day 5 100%

Breakfast, oatmeal
Lunch, Caramel shake
Tea, steak mince burger and broccoli
Snack, chic truffa bar
2 litres of water
Going to try and have another litre whilst I watch tv
 
Hey soon the water will feel natural to drink so much, sounds like it's pretty much becoming a habit already.
Well done so far. You should be in ketosis either now or very very soon which helps take the hunger pangs away. Then it's just your mind games to battle which is easier when the hungers diminished.
You're doing great :)
 
Sounds like you're very much on the road to ketosis...and as Sammy said it will get better and its only your mind to control after that with the temptations....best of luck...and you will find support here xx
 
Thanks I think the support is crucial to staying on track. I can't imagine ever getting used to the water tho lol although I am trying my best x can't believe its day 6 already really looking forward to WI on wed, I haven't even sneaked a peak, which is great for me, I'm a serial weigher lol. Day 6 done 100% and I'm feeling great xxxx
