    56lb countdown.....

    Hi, I had wrote a ridiculously long post here but have lost it when I posted it said restricted access for some reason and the post ide wrote was blank when I clicked the backwards arrow so i'm not gonna write all I did before, just gonna cut long story short.

    I did S&S over a year ago and was 6lb away from goal when I got pregnant and had my first baby, due to me not being on maintenance yet I gained rapidly and by the end of pregnancy was at 13stone. I breastfed until my son was 6 weeks old and planned to get back on this but found out I was pregnant again! Unfortunately we lost the baby at 7weeks so here I am to get back on the programme. Currently on day 5 today which is why i'm feeling confident enough to join and post a diary of my own rather than just read other peoples!

    Age: 26, Height:5ft 4.5", Start weight:12st 4lb/172lb, Goal weight:8st 4lb/116lb.

    I know s&s works just need to make it to maintenance this time! I won't lie, ive been checking scales every morning-butt nekkid after my wee of course and very happy with results! Can't wait for sat to do first official weigh in.

    Thanks hun, I don't know what the facebook group is, if you have a link thatde be great either way will be on here everyday.....even if it's on my own haha it's nice to have an official place to update and moan to lol. Absolutely starving tonight (psychological?? I dunno ha) but my friend is really into her online games and has gave me one of her credits in order to get a game downloaded to keep me occupied, never really played them before but this ones a murder she wrote detective type one and I love me crime so hopefully that keeps me distracted haha.

    Thanks Ellem very determined to get the weight back off and onto maintenance! Will be heaven for this to be the last diet I ever have to do and be normal, sticking to healthy most of the week but with treats to maintain once up the steps- here's hoping this is it for the both of us

    Grrr cannot sleep tonight, driving myself mad-sick of peeing too, keep getting hot sweats if I hold it in too long too grrrr damn you water haha. Day 6 tomorrow well officially it's now but yano can't do sneaky weigh In til morning lol. Not posting for any other reason that to try stop meself going round the bend wanting to eat summit.

    Day 6 today, ano I shouldn't weigh in everyday! but cannit help it especially in the first week, my OH says after first official weigh in on sat he's taking them away for the week lol. Well anyway I am really happy with the loss so far but last two days the scales have not budged at all, so even though im happy with my loss i'm thinking why isn't it moving so can be even better gah. But yeah just goes to prove he is right to take them away cos it really does affect me not seeing them move but keeping positive still even if i'm all grrrr about it inside haha.

    Day six done and dusted! And clean body/clean mind=clean house, ive been sorting out/clearing and unpacking the rest of my things today (moved in 6 months ago ) feel so good, got bit still to do but well on the way of having it all sorted woopeee. And burned some calories along the way! OOh still no budge on scales this morning but not letting it get to me.

    Day number 7 done with, weigh in day tomorrow morning. Scales still hadn't budged today, bit confused hasn't budged for 3 days now, im abit bloated though so not sure if period is due? Havent had a period yet since miscarriage so not sure when to expect it really but possibly that causing water bloat.

    Feeling abit low today, haven't been to the toilet for number two for two days now even using dulcolax and that usually works?? I'm bloated and not only did the scale not show a loss the past 3 days, today it actually showed a gain of 0.25lb it was weigh in day today and ive officially lost 9.25lb and of course I am happy to have lost that but to not lose anything since Tuesdays weigh in I think it was and now a gain, ive been busy too so light exercise calories burnt and stuck to it 100% as usual. I really hope my period rears it's ugly head soon as that's the only explanation I can think of. *Sighs* just feeling demotivated today after the last few days. OH will be taking my scales away today, I know it's for the best but making it so much harder now with seeing that on scales this morning. I'm absolutely exhausted today my son is only 4 months old and decided to cry all morning, pretty much had no sleep ad it's my dads birthday so have to go to a bbq at my brothers house and watch them all eat their lush food and drinks-yay. All I wanted was at least 0.25lb loss and I get that as a gain I just cannit believe it, I've tried so hard with this diet, I can't afford to cheat or not follow it right as I need to get this weight off and can't give up all the hard work ive put in this week so I suppose should just shut me **** and get on with it really.

    If you're sticking to it the loss will show up soon. If you're constipated it will be causing the small gain. Make sure you're drinking loads of water. I find certain packs cause me to have the opposite problem! Curry and chilli and the mint chocolate shake all seem to give me a squiffy tummy. Also some folk use the water flavourings to make them go, I've read. Might be worth a try? Keep going, you'll get there!

    Hi Ellem, thanks for your post I'm actually feeling a lot better, just got home now and came straight on to update lol! Tmi but I did get my period, it came while at the bbq! soooooooooooo relieved and explains bloatedness, knackeredness, waterweight i'm guessing, bad skin and me being a brat this morning and not appreciating my loss, 9.25lb in a week is mint so gonna stop beating myself up now lol.

    See, totm was to blame. I think your partner taking the scales is a good idea. I weigh most days as I live alone and don't appear to be disciplined enough not to look and some weeks I stay the same all week then on weigh day a pile of weight seems to have come off. I don't get it lol.
