    100 Day Challenge

Okay so I've started what feels like fifty million diaries at this stage but this time I'm completely and utterly determined to see this through!

I started yesterday at 17st 7lb :O and in total, to get to a place I'm happy with and was previously a size 10/12, I need to lose 6stone. It sounds so much but it's such a relief finally admitting it to myself and taking this time out to get as close to it as possible. I'm hoping to low carb after my 100 days but who knows! Let's do this first!

    Day 1 (yesterday)

Great day, woke up and and it just knew this was it. I wasn't even planning it but it just hit me with a bang that I need to stop making excuses, jumping from one plan to another and always coming up with reasons why the current plan won't work!

*I had a chocolate shake to start me off then out and about with my OH and daughter.

*Picked at slim and save crisps while out and had plenty of water and a large coffee (I don't stop caffeine it doesn't affect me getting into ketosis)

*Made a cottage pie up with an oxo, not crazy about the new cottage pie with spring onions. The texture isn't nice!

    *Fillet of salmon.

    99 days left!

    Day 2

*Pasta carb pack for lunch after work (half spilt over microwave )

*Beef and noodle soup (surprisingly nice)

    *White Choc and raspberry shake

*Stuffed mushrooms with spinach, babybel and Bacon medallions (nicest meal I've had for ages!)

Been drinking loads of water, salted caramel green tea and just about to have a cherry coke zero!! Roll on day 3!

    Hi HappyBunny!

Today is day 1 for me (after too many false re starts so far this year!) Hope I can join you in your 100 day count down? I also have 6 stone to lose in total but for now will be happy with a 4 stone loss. Im with you on the taste of the new cottage pie pack...it's not as nice as it was before. I generally struggle with the water. I'm not keen on the water flavourings so have bought some ribena plus to flavour my water. Good luck with your journey! x

    Day 3

Ah yay, people! Thought I'd be talking to myself for ages, I had started and abandoned so many diaries I think most people have given up on me around here haha! Definitely join me Pink, 4st is my more realistic goal for my hundred days and the following two will come after! Well done Sammy I bet you feel amazing! Fitforafb, Oh the name totally resonates with me but not even feeling remotely fit these days!

So Day 3 has been probably my worst day of the year so far haha, but not diet wise! Work wise and car wise agh, stress! Diet wise it's been good though, not great but good. I refused lunch when I was out with my dad earlier which is unheard of for me, I'll usually always go for something low carb regardless of diet and it sends me on a downward spiral but today I point blank refused, success!

*Pasta carb (love this stuff, too scared to count how few I have left!)

*Roast chicken crisps (doused in garlic powder and a bit of salt)

    *Chocolate caramel shake

    *New and yuckified cottage pie

*An egg and two slices of white pudding

So I went for a simplicity plus day having four packs and a meal (it's hopefully the last week I'll be 17st or over and allowed so I thought feck it) BUT obviously white pud isn't allowed so that wasn't a good choice but calorie and carb wise I did okay!

You have to make the diet work for your lifestyle as well, if you need a bit extra then have it. The way I see it is that's it's 100% better than before x

    Day 5

*Small salad in work (boiled egg, green peppers and lettuce)

    *Atkins indulge bar

    *Pasta carb

    *Salmon fillet and asparagus

Not a great day and this is usually where I start slipping one plan and adding more real food than packs so as of tomorrow I'm doing simplicity for a little while!

I'm doing lifestyle but I snack on a bit of ham if I'm hungry through the day. If I use the lower cal packs you can fit it in. Good luck x

    Day 6

    *Lemon yogurt shake

    *Cookies and cream shake

    *Strawberry shake

*White Choc and raspberry pancake with Liberte 0% Greek yogurt (defeckinlish)

It felt so good scaling back today and getting back to basics, my plan was to continue like this untillll my other half came home with the makings of a cooked breakfast for tomorrow (for mother's day because he's working on Sunday) he said Oh I thought you were on 5:2 haha poor bloke can't keep up! I had a snoop and he got gammon streaks (?!), eggs, Linda Mc sausages and white pudding. Not sure what I'll do, ideally I'd get on with it and do my original plan because it's not as if it's food he won't eat himself anyway but I just hope I actually make that decision tomorrow!!

It's so handy being able to switch it up when we want fit4, I have no guilt eating low carb or the odd snack etc I just worry it'll spiral me out of control! Ha you'd swear it was heroin!

    Day 7

So proud I've made it this far and already feeling a difference! A pair of size 16 jeans a tried on about two weeks ago that left me breathless and barely closed, fit today!!! Fit properly like I'm wearing them right now! So happy! But I'm definitely not a 16 yet these just have a bit of stretch and obviously a bit more forgiving size wise!
Nice day today, I did have a mini brunch but every calorie and carb was accounted for. I'd have rathered a pack though if I'm completely honest!

    *Chocolate shake

*Some white pudding and an egg

*White Choc and raspberry pancake with Greek yog

Back to basics tomorrow for def!
