have lost 9 1/2 lbs in 2 weeks gone from 15st11 to 15st3ish but my clothes are still just as tight, feel just as large and look it too just caught sight of my reflection in my kitchen window as was taking bins out .. I know its early days but feel little demoralised as vlcd isn't the easiest thing to stick to when not really seing the results

just wondered when you started to look and feel slimmer ? if stick to this 100% should technically lose at least 2 stone in next 10 weeks or so but just cant imagine how will look and feel - wondering if will make much difference to my appearance being 13st odd

just feel bit demoralised atm x

Hiya :)

I would say another 2 weeks and you will notice a difference and your clothes should definitely feel looser by then. Don't give up, it will happen! xx

Last time I actually couldnt see a difference in the mirror for months, however I could see it in photos-I got my daughter to take them weekly and compared them and I could see it then.

Hi Lebody, well done on 9/12 lbs loss so far. Your are right a vlcd isn't the easiest of plans but it does work. Try not to think about how long you've been on it and that you can't see a difference in the mirror...yet. Try a pair of jeans or dress that is too tight maybe weekly or even every other day and see whether the zip does up or use your jeans or dress that was very tight before you started the vlcd and see how much looser that is getting.

I found it a great motivator to try and get into old clothes I hadn't worn for ages, years even and it really helped. I gained gained 5lbs over May as I simply kept comfort eating although I had been maintaining for a number of weeks though was still half a stone to goal. I have re-started S&S just to regain some control back and will do it for a week or possibly 2 just to get back to where I was at the start of May. I will be using my old jeans try on method every other day as it really helps me. I am a daily weigher too but I don't recommend that if you get put off by an increase in the scale as it can go up and down.

Hope you will let us know howyou are getting on.

You will! Honestly if I did it anyone can! Just stick at it at, a day at time. The hardest bit is maintaining Olaf for some the first few days of simply getting into the zone on a vlcd.

Hi I lost over 5 st approx 5 years ago on LL (gained 1.5st back but that's another story) I didn't notice a difference until I'd lost the first 1st and no one at work said anything until after I'd lost 2st then they all wanted to know what my secret was! Do not give up honestly!!
