    New to this site, butternut squash soup?

    Hi everyone I'm new to this site, bn on slim and save for nearly 2weeks, getting married in September so looking to shift 3stone, was wondering if butternut squash soup would bring me out of ketosis? It contains butternut squash, red pepper, veg stock. I eat a lot of it and love it so would b great

    Yes it probably would. Neither butternut squash or red pepper are on the allowed list because of the amount of carbs in them. There's 4.4g of carbs in swede (which is the most carb-y veg we're allowed) and 11g in butternut squash, that's per 100g for both. Personally, I wouldn't risk it. This diet is quite difficult but it's ketosis that makes it a lot easier. Even if it didn't knock you out of ketosis, the extra carbs will likely affect losses. You'll have people on here who do tweak things but your losses will be best if you stick to it properly, whatever works for you though.
