Whats your favourite flavours?

My favourite shake is Strawberry (which has little bits of strawberry in it) nice and thick almost creamy which is great considering there is no water in it!

Fave meal is still the Spaghetti Bolognese which even has the kids wanting to eat it :D

Fave soup Vegetable which I enjoy if I have had a late day and need to chillax at 9pm (i know its late don't burn me)

Fave bar is Chocolate Truffa (though honey & nougat getting to be a fave too)

Thats pretty much my usual day of late and dont mind at all, sometimes ill switch the spag bol with cottage pie which is nice but not as nice as the spag x

For me it's:

Shake - Strawberry and Banana - like them both

Soup - Vegetable

Bar - Chocolate Truffa and Banana Delight. I cut the bars up into tiny slivers to make them last longer, instead of the pre diet 3 chomps and the Mars bar is gone

Spag Bol - my absolute fav! Could eat that post diet I think

:D We must have the same tastes!

so whats the cottage pie like? tempted to try it :)

The cottage pie is 'ok' but nowhere near as good as the spag bol IMO. I end up adding a bit of chilli powder to it to spice it up a bit. It does make a change though as otherwise I'd be eating spag bol every day of the week :), although given how nice the spag bol is I'm sure I'd be ok with that. Not sure I'll buy anymore cottage pie once it's gone though.

ok cool will give them a miss........ i think the spag bol is amazing and the bars....... although smaller than cd's bars they are less cals so you could technically eat 1 and a half :)

not tried the shakes yet as have some cd shakes left..

Have you tried packs from other firms - how do they compare in taste, price etc?

I've only tried the Lipotrim shakes and soup :9529:and some of the CD shakes and soups which are ok. I haven't tried anyone else's meals or bars other than the Proti Chilli (which isn't strictly speaking a meal replacement as far as I know). Lipotrim is more expensive than S&S and you have the hassle of getting to a pharmacy and ditto CD as you have to get to one of the reps. Someone gave me a handful of CD shakes and soups which is how I've got them.

I'm on Cambridge. I wish they had something like the spagetti bol. I'm getting a bit fed up of shakes and I've only done 3 and a bit weeks. I like the chocolate and cappuchino ones best. And most of the soups are quite nice. The malt toffee bar is yum. What are the lipotrim packs like. I've only had cambridge and Slimfast. And only liked the coffee slimfast.

When I did Lipotrim 6 years ago I spent 4 months on just choc shakes as I couldn't stomach the strawberry and vanilla shakes, or the chicken soup. :yuk:. I never tried the LT bars as my pharmacy didn't stock them as they said that no one liked them. From what I understand they taste like cardboard. I don't think the flavours have changed, not sure if the taste has improved but I'm not going to find out.

The slim and save bars are gorgeous. Just like having a chocolate treat, and the spag bol is a lifesaver. It's lovely feeling like you're having a proper meal at the end of the day.

4 months on chocolate shakes. I'm impressed!! I'd love to try that spag bol and the slim and save bars. I've even had the Cambridge porridge for a bit of variety even though I don't like it that much. but it's Ok and more filling than the shakes.

Must admit, I'm open to trying whatever VLCD options are out there. I'm not a slave to one particular diet, and if I like it and it seems OK then that's fine by me :). You can buy some of the spag bols direct from the S&S website (or through their Ebay shop) if you want to try them. I've tried the S&S porridge. It's ok but quite sweet and I've had it twice so far, both times at weekends as it's a bit of a faff to make and I don't have time to faff before work.

yeah im not a lover of the porridge had it once it was enough, spag bol all day long :) As you said the cottage pie is a change and i still enjoy it but not as nice as the spag bol I actually bought 42 spag bol for £50 including delivery to boost my meals up i think it was about £56 but had seen on a leaflet from them about coupon code loyalty10 so tried it and it worked and gave me 10% discount so got a further £5.60 or abouts knocked off :)

great might try the discount code myself!!

think i will order some more!!
