On maintenance I'm a little higher than I would like to be...


All the big companies stepped back from the 'more you drink the more you shrink' tagline several years ago. I think it was CD which said it wasnt the case.
Ive never found it makes a blind bit of difference if I have 2/3/4 litres, if anything I get water logged lol I suppose its down to different people but I dont think it follows that its the case, might work for some, but not for others

If your body uses water to metabolise the fat then surely the more available the better.... Sure there's prob an upper limit as surely you can only burn so much fat in a day!!!!

Nor did I say you did. Just pointing out that it doesn't follow the more water you have the more you lose. I was merely pointing out that it can and does vary very much from person to person and week to week.
I've seen people on Minimins drinking 6/7 litres a day working on the assumption it'll speed their losses and have ended up retaining water

I retain water if I drink more than 4litres a day but I also retain if I drink the minimum. 3litres is just right for me to have steady, consistent losses.

Going back to to the original post, I would just like to advise that this is my second week and I felt god damn AWFUL last week, but I woke up on Sunday morning like I had had a complete body/mind/soul transplant!! I couldn't get to my laptop to post here so my sister bore the brunt of my "OMG I FEEL GREEEAAATTT" texts all day long.
So newbies, ride out those first few days of pain (I spent most of my time aside of work either in the bath or in bed) as I feel fantastic this week.
Just hope it continues!! Fingers toes and everything else crossed!
