    NEWBIE!!

    Evening all, im a newbie to the world of VLCD's and have opted for S&S!!
    hoping to shift around 5st!

    Day one hasnt been so bad i dont feel hungry but am having trouble drinking so much water!! i was never a big drinker before just a big eater! haha!

    Any tips on how i can get around this?

    looking forward to interacting with everyone here

    hi jussy805, I'm a newbie too on my second day (in ketosis), not hungry but I'm not thirsty either! struggling to get the water down. s&s do a mixed fruit and an orange flavour, and i think a white wine flavour too! i had the mixed fruit flavour as a hot drink last night, and today I've been drinking it with crushed ice. I've had the ketosis side effects today, headache and feeling a little sick, but also not hungry so happy about that.
    How have you been feeling today? Did you buy any of the flavourings?

    I find the first couple of days I struggle with water too, but as you go into the diet I think you naturally drink more. My minimum without trying now is 2.5 litres easily,
    Need to get my head in gear. Not in the zone.

    Slimming world for a bit to try and get my eating under control.

    I find that having a drink where ever I go helps, carry around a bottle and just keep sipping.

    hello, im not new to VLCDs but new to S&S excited and really scared! im going for the full on no 'real' food again, done it before successfully, then tried the whole 3 packs 1 meal -strangely didnt work as well..
    Ive got to force the water down, im on my feet at work and its hot so I need loads to drink and forget so easily! maybe taping a bottle to my hand will help? heh



    Mini Goals:
    *Get back in the zone!
    I think I'm there
    *Get back under 12 stone
    *Get under 11 stone by June
    *Get under 10 stone before holiday in August and stay there!
    *Defeat the demon that made me fat, forever!

    I cannot see your starting weight on my phone, but going by your post it sounds like your first weeks loss was good! Well done

    My Diary

    Started JUDDD on 1st October 2012 weighing 14st 3.¼ lb
    Weight lost in Oct 2012: 10.¾ lb (13st 6.5 lb)
    Weight lost in Nov 2012: 3.¾ lb (13st 2.¾ lb)
    Weight lost in Dec 2012 (1st - 24th): 2.¾ lb (13st 0 lb)

    Had 10 days off plan over Christmas: Didn't weigh myself to find out how much I gained.
    Weight lost in Jan 2013 (4th - 31st): 4 lb (12st 10 lb)
    Weight lost in Feb 2013: 2 lb (12st 8 lb)
    15/03/13: -1.¼ lb (12st 6.¾ lb)
    23/03/13: -0.¾ lb (12st 6 lb)
    Came off plan for 5-6 weeks and regained 12.5 lb (13st 4.5 lb)
    28/05/13: Completed 4 weeks of VLCD and lost 15 lb (12st 3.5 lb)


    Start weight & size: 15st 9.¼ lb, size 22-24
    Current weight & size: 12st 6 lb, size 16-18 (18 is loose, 16 still slightly clingy)
    Goal weight & size: 10st 7 lb, size 14
