    preparing for maintenance

Ok, so I am about 1 stone from target (hopefully less at next weigh in). I know that in those first few days you lose more because of glycogen and water. So when you go on to maintenance do you regain that? (I intend to eat carbs, mainly fruit, and low GI carbs, but still carbs) and so should I adjust my target to take in to account the gain?
I look back at those photo's and think "why did I think I was fat?". Thyroid be damned, I will be thin again.

    Goals:
    Goals for this time round-
    Fit in my bridesmaid dress
    Lose 10lbs

    Lose 1stone

    Lose 18lbs

    Reach 10stone
    4/12/12 (again...)
Get into my size 10s (what ever weight that requires)

I think they say to prepare for an average 5lb gain when you add "normal" food, depending on how you plan to maintain there is a chance to lose it again though

    Mini Goals:
    1. Get into 18s 2. Get into 17s 3. Get into 16s 4. Get into 15s 5. Get into 14s (never in adult life!) 6. Get into 13s 7. Get into 12s 8. Maintain 4 life!!! 9. Be Happy!!

It depends on the person I think. If you think you will be discouraged by reaching goal only to find you might have put back on 5-6Ibs maybe more then you might want to think about going a little lower than goal to account for it. I know that I will be going at least half a stone under my goal because even though I know rationally it will just be water I know that I will find it demoralising.

On the slim and save website it says "if your actual weight is important (IE you want to weight 10st) then we recommend that you diet to around 4 to 5lb lighter than you want to be to allow for the increase once you stop the programme."
I originally started out at 15st.4Ibs but lost -8Ibs using Weight Watcher ready meals, then started this plan at 14st.10Ibs on the 03/05/2012

    S
    lim and Save

    Month 1- 11Ibs
    Month 2 - 10Ibs
    Month 3 - 9Ibs
    Month 4 - 12Ibs
    Month 5 - 11Ibs
    Month 6 - 6Ibs
    Month 7 - 13Ibs
    Month 8 - 3Ibs (xmas start weight 9st.5Ibs)
    Month 9 - 2Ibs (letting it slip)

Came off plan after christmas early Jan after losing 77Ibs!

Restart after putting on 1 1/2 Stone back on

Mission get to goal! Starting 26/04/2013 WI on Fri

    Start Weight = 10st 10Ibs

    Atkins induction
    Week 1 WI =
    -4Ibs
    Week 2 WI =

Thanks for that. I am like that, I don't want to get disheartened by gaining a bit of weight then thinking 'to hell with it' and pigging out. So I will change my goal!
