I've just bought some from Holland & Barratt - I don't think they are in the major supermarkets yet.

Holland and Barrett here doesn't stock them but will get them in for me.I have just ordered the rice ones off Amazon as when I put in Holland and Barrett order the other day they were out of stock.

£12.50 for 5 packs on Amazon so £2.50 a pack between 2 of us doesn't seem that bad seeing that it's for my main meal of the day and I don't buy cakes etc.

Rinse them in a colander when you first open then they smell a bit weird.

I opened a pack last night and got no smell from them.

I must say not much in a packet. Not as much as in the other ones I had or it could just be I'm greedy.

They shouldn't count for anything as they have no carbs and no calories -- they're made from a Japanese Yam I think. They have insoluble fiber, I think.
