    In ketosis after 1 day?

    Not sure if its possible. I started yesterday and I felt hungry and had a headache. Today I feel just fine and no hunger. So could I be in ketosis already, after just 1 day?
    Doing my own thing- 16/12/2012

    Week one- -10lbs!
    Week two- +7lbs (christmas)
    Week three- -4lbs


    Slim and Save- 03/01/2013

    Week one- -12.5lbs and TOTM! Lost 15.5in
    Week two- STS
    Week three- +2lbs off plan
    Week four- +1lb off plan
    Week five- +1lb off plan
    Week six- STS

    BMI Information:
    did you reduce carbs before you started? its unlikely but ketosis is more a gradient than and on and off, maybe get some ketostix if you're intrigued, most chemists have them if you ask (mine had them behind the counter)

    I started yesterday and used a ketostick at 7pm tonight and I am in ketosis already, so yes it is possible, fastest I've ever got in to ketosis though! good luck with your weight loss journey x

    I was in by bedtime on day 2 and did the opposite of low carbing in the run up xx

    It differs between people, it depends on how much glycogen you store and how fast you use it up and what your body classes as 'empty' so it is possible, it is also possible that your head is in the right place and you just don't seem hungry. Either way, it's got to be good!
    I look back at those photo's and think "why did I think I was fat?". Thyroid be damned, I will be thin again.

    I don't have many symptoms getting into ketosis - some people are lucky that way. Just thank your lucky stars and move on to fat burning!
    Reached goal of 130 lbs to lose.

    On maintenance I'm a little higher than I would like to be...
