I know I know its crazy right, I have been on this diet 10 days and nothing has really bothered me except now and again i get the strongest urge to just eat my fav choc Mars Bars. I know we cant have them, I know it will take me out of ketosis, but i end up just smelling it lol its got to be bad when you start smelling caburys chocolate lol - is anyone the same ? I have the slim and save bars and they just hit the spot :)

You're totally not the only loony! I'm definitely another one. However, for your chocolate craving, the good Dr Beck has the following advice: Do you need this mars bar? If you think you do, would you still need this mars bar if your life depended on you not eating it? Would you still want this mars bar if you had to run naked down your street in the snow in order to have it?
It works for me! ;)
I'd run naked down the street for one if it didn't affect my ketosis :D

I have the Beck book on my kindle and have read it twice to a few days into the plan! (I'm working on my focus!). I also have all the worksheets that make up the workbook (I think) that I downloaded from the Beck website - you get daily tips from here too. And if you're on facebook, follow Beck on there too for the daily tips. Thank you for being kind about my advice, it is very much about Dr Beck and how she has changed my mindset about food, it's very powerful stuff :). I've started a CBT course to learn more about it, expect I'll get a few chapters into that one too!

Thankgod I am not alone, would I run down the street for a mars bar naked Mmmm the answer is NO lol now I would run down the road for a million pounds lol, who is Dr Beck ?
