The spicy spaghetti is waaaaay nicer!!
I'd of gone mad if someone was doing that to me, just ignore that and keep going towards a healthier you.
Sounds like a good start though, you'll find you start missing food less and less till it doesn't feel like anything is a temptation.

Everyone at work was really nice/unhelpful at the same time becuase my boss kept teasing me with cake (which I didn't want at all!) but it was a bit humiliating, a bit run fat girl run. Sigh.

Ooooh do you know, that really makes me mad! There are so many laws against doing that to so many groups of people - but those of us who find ourselves a bit bigger than others seem to be considered to be fair game. Next time tell your boss they should have it, in fact you can hear their arteries crying out for more fat as you're standing there!
This is the rest of my life. This is fufilling a lifelong dream. This is it. This is something I want to do. This is something I will do. This is something I am doing.

Mashworth I am looking forwards to that one! Sounds yum!

I'm going to try to not let it get to me because they will soon be interested when I've dropped a stone in three weeks (we can hope eh ! Aiming high )
All the girls were lovely really, just a bit perplexed because they are about 9 stone and all gorgeous (damn them!)

You'll show them - the b******ds!! People just seem to have their own motives for making others fail on their diets

'oh you don't need to lose weight' - errr, my obese BMI disagrees with that

We all need to lock ourselves away at a holiday camp together, all do the diet together and then exit at the end looking like fricking superstars

A lot of people don't understand the sachet thing and think it is a dangerous fad diet. Unless they take the time to do the research there is nothing you can do to educate them. You know that you are undertaking a safe and scientifically tested food regime and you will be able to feel smug at the end when it works. People tend to keep losing weight for longer on vlc diets (as long as they are done in a safe and controlled manner) because they keep feeling motivated by their continuing successes. Keep going and in very little time you will be astounded by the results. xxx

OK I'm really about to cave in! How can a diet get harder???
Already had all 4 meals, the spicy spaghetti was delicious!! But I'm absolutely dying for some wine. Like I could cry. And I don't know how I'm going to get through tomorrow without gin! Honestly, I have nothing to do in my life apart from drink as it is! Eeek this is horrible

Don't give up, it is soo worth it, the first few days are hard but it gets so much easier, obviously it's upto you but do you WANT a change or to stay the same? You must of started this for a reason to get healthier and happier. It really will be such a small percentage of your life on this diet with results and habit changes that could last a lifetime. Either you learn to fully embrace yourself for how you are now or stick with it for the results you want (?)
    Xx

I know it is tough - I love a drink also. In fact when not dieting probably have some most nights. Funnily enough about half an hour ago I was just thinking how cool it was that I have not had a hangover for a week and will not have one for the foreseeable future. Every cloud as they say. You can do this AND you are giving your liver (and your wallet) a well deserved rest!

    Thanks for replying
I've drank a lot of water and Coke Zero since I posted, but I feel a bit better and glad that I was good.
Tomorrow is a whole other challenge. I keep trying to justify some vodka and coke zero. If I pass out at least I'll be in a safe place.
I sound like such an alcoholic, it's just been months since I've had a sober Saturday, and I just haven't worked out how to fill the void yet.
I have already lost an inch off my waist (I know it's water but still )
