Hi all

I would like to know if there is a difference in weight loss when you are on the 3 pack? Or it will be the same as have a 4 pack?

Thank you!!

I've always had 4 packs and lost 1 stone a month

I personally have found losses better when on 4packs ,i did 3 packs plus meal for couple weeks and losses were not.great although I think I went over carb allowance once or twice, however most people find losses the same on either plan

I find I lose the same on both. You need to make sure you stick to the 200g veg though and not a little extra this and a little extra that as it all adds up. Use the meal planner on the S&S site to help with that.

I think it does depend on how disciplined you are. The beauty of TMR plans is that it's all done for you, you've got all your nutrition and the right amount of calories. When you do 3 and a meal, it's quite easy to just go over a bit on protein cause it would be a waste to cut off that 30g of chicken from the end of the breast, or to cut the brocolli in half cause you're now at 220g of veg - and what does it matter if you guess the weight of the protein and the veg, it'll all be fine...

If you approach your "meal" with the same amount of care and thought that has gone into the nutrition of the packs, and remember the vitamin too - then it'll be the same. If you're like me, you'll religiously measure out your water for the packs, but just chuck the veg in your steamer with a guess!

What Caroline and Noodles say is tru you need to be really careful not to add a little extra here and there when you to 3 packs and protein meal, like Caroline says use the meal planner on S & S website

From personal experience on this diet I find that if I stick to 4 packs I am fine. Its when I start eating "proper food" it opens up the tempation to add a little bit of this and a little bit of that and before you know it you are over your carb and calorie allowance. I think for anyone beginning the diet the 4 packs is the safer option until you get into the way of how the diet actually works and therefore removing the temptations that could throw you off course and slow down your weight loss from the very beginning. It depends on how disciplined a person you are and if you have strong willpower.

This diet is quick results but its not a quick fix unless you deal with your emotions around food and what makes you eat what you do and the amounts of what you eat when you eat. The way I look at it even if I were to only lose 7lbs a month it is 7lbs more than what I would following the conventional calorie counting, point counting, red days green days type of diet.
