    Start of a long road!

    I'm going to start Slim and Save tomorrow. The box of what look very much like Army Rations arrived on Friday and I'm excited to get started. I'm pretty terrified I'm going to be starving and going to cheat and ultimately fail miserably. I have 94lbs to loose, but I'm more interested in inch loss than actual weight loss numbers. I seem to be in minority here and I hope you ladies don't mind that I'm tagging along for the ride!!

    Hello and welcome - and I really don't think you are in that much of a minority, it's just that the guys can't get much of a word in with all us girls going on and on...

    Honestly and truthfully - you won't be hungry. You might feel hungry but it won't be your body telling you that, it'll be your head. If you can work through that and perhaps consider looking at how you can tackle that head hunger in future, you'll have every success in losing and keeping it off. And for the moments when it all seems a bit tough - that's when the support on here is second to none, it really does help
    Pondering the future... how to get fitter... how to maintain... how to be a size 12 forever...

    Hi :-) I'm restarting again... I want to lose 100lbs (plus more) so ill be here for a while this time! Did 4 months last year and lost 60lbs, came back in jan but never really got into it properly so stopped but now I'm back and hoping to be slimmer for summer this year :-) good luck x

    I am in exactly the same boat as you cheekychick81!!. re starting tommorrow. started in January and didnt last long, dabbled with slimming world and arrived back at binge eating on pasta and potatoes and then spiraled off onto choc, cake etc etc. re-starting tommorrow so upwards and downwards. good luck to us!! xx

    Welcome Paul! You can lose that 94lb. I lost well over that on the diet (well, a combination of SnS and LL) and I never really believed I would do it at the start. Now I am about a stone higher than I want to be (having reached goal last June) and much fitter having started exercise after reaching goal. I'm really enjoying my new healthier lifestyle and am slowly taking off the extra stone. Once you're in ketosis your appetite is supressed and that really helps.
