    Eating out

    Hello there


    I am new but I was thinking we could start an eating out thread of some ideas and places what's best to eat ect, as I want to try and also have a social life with this diet.

    So lets all put ideas and tips in here

    I've got a lunch date Monday which I though the harvester as they do chicken and free salad

    I was out Saturday and was able to look at the menu online. Picked the tuna salad without the mayo

    First target: get through week one

    second target: get into the 14's bracket
    (just, 02/05/2013)
    Third target: a stone

    Fourth target: get into 13's bracket

    that will do for now!

    Thanks for your reply hopefully we get a thread going here it would be helpful, was it a branch restaurant? Anything we can put on here so if other visit they can have an idea

    I went to nandos for my lunch today. Wasn't too bad... Had 1/4 chicken with side salad and corn on cob. Came to about 250 cals on myfitnesspal. Not sure of carb content but not too high! And was yummmm! X

    In Nandos I have chicken and mixed leaf salad - but I avoid the corn on the cob. I think harvester do seabass don't they? I can always find something to eat when put (and not just because I've finished the diet now!) but I'm willing to be awkward. So I'll choose fish, or steak, or chicken, or whatever and I'll tell them that I don't want the chips/other stuff it comes with and instead I want a salad with the dressing on the side. In Indian restaurants I have chicken tikka and salad. There's nearly always suitable options as long as you're willing to be a bit difficult!
    Lost 130lbs from July 2011 to June 2012. Have been maintaining since then but now have returned to lose the extra I put on whilst trying to work out how to maintain!
